Re: Walmat Hates Xbox
I would imagine that Microsoft would have done extensive testing on the wireless aspect. I don't think it would mess with general household wireless devices. My guess/assumption is that the main problem is with their handheld scanners at Wal-mart. They must run at exactly the same frequency and wal-mart is throwing a fit because those scanners are the most important thing for wal-mart employees.

I wonder if this means that since the 360's are already packaged and possibly in warehouses just about to be shipped, if that MS finds a bug/issue in their wireless portion of the 360 if they will delay it or not.

Re: Walmat Hates Xbox
you'd think it'd bring in more customers, and wal-mart would actually like it.

not if it is messing with their system... those handheld scanners are how they keep track of merchandise, set prices, and various other things that i can't remember at the moment. but i think they might be slightly outdated so maybe they'll consider getting a new system. i know my sister has carpal tunnel from holding that thing all the time, they need something new. |
Re: Walmat Hates Xbox
oh yeah.
so it was like, when a magnet hits a watch, it resets it? or something like that? |
Re: Walmat Hates Xbox
The customers should protest the faulty stores by placing magnets on all the TV screens.

It's kind of funny, each gun is like $4000. But a simple home console can screw something like that up? Besides, the guns I used ran on Microsoft Palm software. Honestly. |
Re: Walmat Hates Xbox
I actually wonder where the problem is...if its with Microsoft for not factoring in that something else uses that frequency, or on Walmat for being outdated, to a degree.
Maybe this is some scheme to bring down another corporation, all plotted by Microsoft. Then Microsoft will buy Wal-Mart saying they will build them back up, but instead selling the name to a store that sells carpentry items. Its a conspiracy I tells ya. |
