Being an avid Canuck fan, and Loving Bertuzzi, This is a big deal to me...so heres an update.



ok...does it seem strange to you that McSorely used a weapon....and got the same charge?

Its like giving someone who pre-meditated a murder the same as someone who killed accidentally.

I can't be a fan of a hockey player who breaks two vertabraes and the jaw of someone else. As well as giving them a concussion. He's not an athlete. He's a violent barbarian. Rip off his sack with a staple remover and throw him in prison for life.

Watch it man, Bertuzzi comes from my town. I know someone who had him as a babysitter, haha.

Nobody is asking you to be a fan of him.

Yes, he is an athelete. How do you think he got that far? By competing athletically.

You say you cant support a man who breaks vertabrae and a jaw, but i ask you one question. Do you support your government? Do you take pride in it? Do you stand behind your government? Because your government is doing more to people that breaking vertabrea and jaws.

Don't try to escape my prosecutions by throwing questions about the government at me. You either make a legitimate defence for his violent actions right here, right now or else I'm going to assume that you agree with me. You have 10 minutes.

There are none of course, Im not defending what he did, im defending the fact that the trial is f-ing stupid.

Mcsorely used a weapon, and got off easier than Bertuzzi is expected to.

And "assult" is classified as any unwanted physical contact.

So why not call every body check, hip check, slash, punch, eblow, board, trip, spear, knee-to-knee assult? Why?

Why when Naslund got injured by Moores elbow to his face, tat that wasnt assult?

Why when Bure got the Knee-to-knee that wasnt assult?

Why isnt ANY bodycheck assult?

Why?

Because its a f-ing sport where this stuff in expected.

Having a hockey player charged for assult is like doing the same to a football or rugby player. Physical Contact is expected.

And like i said, the thing that probably injured Moore wasnt the punch, but Bertuzzi landing on him, then Foote, and so on.

EDIT:

The only NHL player to ever get jail time was Dino Ciccerelli, he got 1 day for using a stick to the head.

A stick.

To the head.

And Bertuzzi is expected to get 18 months for a fist to the face.

Tell me how his fists are worse than assult with a possible edeadly weapon.
