1 and 4 after a win over the USA Saints is hardly back, no matter how many points you score.

My Eagles got smoked today... by the friggin' Cowboys. It is a dark day in Philadelphia my friends.

You can say that again...

I'm not sure if I've seen the Eagles play that poorly (or the Cowboys that well?) since we started 0-2 in 2003...I don't know what to think about this team this year...We'll see..

'Splain to me why McNabb is playing? Why in the hell don't they just let him have the surgery so he's healthy for December and January? The Iggles are clearly to the class of the NFC, even after yesterday. Let Anonymous Detmer Brother #1 lead the team for 4 weeks and Westbrook everybody to death, then crank it up the last few weeks of the season.

Especially with a bye week next week, this is exactly what I've wanted the Eagles to do since I heard that McNabb would only be out 4-6 weeks if he elects to have surgery. I mean, we signed McMahon for a reason and I'd rather struggle for a few games in between than have no McNabb for the playoffs...

7-0 going into the bye. How sweet is it? Just ask these guys:

I'd ask them, but they seem to have some sort of synchronized thing going on.

And frankly, that scares me.

Well, the Eagles offense is very shaky, but their defense was phenomenal. They held LaDainian Tomlinson to 7 rushing yards. That's crazy!

damn, 7-0, can it get any sweeter?

*phew*

I thought I was the only one.

Edgerrin James has to be an early candidate for MVP or maybe Offensive POY. Maybe not the TOP contender at this point, but he's on pace for an amazing season.

801 yards rushing, 7 TDs rushing
4.9 yards/carry
19 receptions, 172 yards receiving, 1 TD receiving

Tops in the NFL in rushing and yards from scrimmage.

on pace for:

1831 yards rushing, 16 TDs rushing
4.9 yards/carry
43 receptions, 393 yards receiving, 2 TDs receiving
