The lions might be in trouble, whole f**king season.

1 and 4 after a win over the USA Saints is hardly back, no matter how many points you score.

whoa, Lions beat the Ravens 35-17.
whoa. |

My Eagles got smoked today... by the friggin' Cowboys. It is a dark day in Philadelphia my friends.

7-0 going into the bye. How sweet is it? Just ask these guys:

Well, the Eagles offense is very shaky, but their defense was phenomenal. They held LaDainian Tomlinson to 7 rushing yards. That's crazy!

damn, 7-0, can it get any sweeter?

*phew* I thought I was the only one. Edgerrin James has to be an early candidate for MVP or maybe Offensive POY. Maybe not the TOP contender at this point, but he's on pace for an amazing season. 801 yards rushing, 7 TDs rushing 4.9 yards/carry 19 receptions, 172 yards receiving, 1 TD receiving Tops in the NFL in rushing and yards from scrimmage. on pace for: 1831 yards rushing, 16 TDs rushing 4.9 yards/carry 43 receptions, 393 yards receiving, 2 TDs receiving |

Re: THE NFL 2005-2006 Thread.
I'm done with the NFL. Tonight's game was the most obviously fixed professional sports event I've ever seen.
1) Leto Sheppherd jogs while covering Terry Glenn for his first touchdown. 2) Before Roy Williams intercepts Donovan McNabb for the touchdown to win the game, #56 of the Cowboys is already running downfield to block for him. Seriously, check the replay. 56 never turns his hips to chase the ball. Plus, McNabb was looking to the right the entire time. It would have been impossible to miss Williams waiting for the pass. And did I mention that the line was the Eagles by 3? Even if Akers made the fieldgoal to win the game the Cowboys would have covered the spread. DONE. |
Re: THE NFL 2005-2006 Thread.
I don't know about all of that, but I'm certainly done with the Eagles this year. I rarely get to watch them at college, but I've watched four games this year...Result? 0-4....I've had enough. Let the Philadelphia sports woes continue.
Go Flyers? Eh, why do I bother? |
Re: THE NFL 2005-2006 Thread.
I'm not kidding, Germ. Check the replay of the interception. 56 is getting ready to block before the interception. I wish I was just overreacting.

I dont know.... I play Soccer and Hockey in competitive leagues, and after playing a game in the cold, your body sometimes gives out on you. Like in soccer. I can think of countless times were I've seen people go from a sprint down a field on a breakaway, to a slow jog, and get checked instantly. I dont think its fixed, is what I'm trying to say. |
Re: THE NFL 2005-2006 Thread.
strangler, dude...you're losing your mind
ive seen teams fold like cheap suitcases before that leave you thinking "WTF?", but it's not FIXED. give me a break...im just hoping that you were really drunk when you typed that |
Re: THE NFL 2005-2006 Thread.
The NFL is not fixed.
I am extremely happy this year because the Denver Broncos are now 7-2 and first place in our division. Anyways I wanted to see who you guys think will be in the playoffs. These are my picks: AFC 1st seed: Colts 2nd seed: Steelers 3rd seed: Broncos 4th seed: Bengals 5th seed: Patriots 6th seed: Chargers NFC 1st seed: Panthers 2nd seed: Cowboys 3rd seed: Seahawks 4th seed: Giants 5th seed: Bears 6th seed: Redskins |
Re: THE NFL 2005-2006 Thread.
I still have a bit of faith in the lions.
with Jeff Garcia, they play like ****, without, they actually have a chance. |

The top 4 seeds in both conferences are the 4 division winners, thus the Giants and Bengals can't be 4s unless you move Pit and Dallas down. NFC 1) Atlanta 2) Seattle 3) Chicago 4) New York 5) Carolina 6) Dallas AFC 1) Indy 2) Pitt 3) Denver 4) New England 5) Cinci 6) San Diego Season starts sunday for my Bears. I don't really think they're for real, and I expect the panthers to win, but I'd love to be wrong. |

Two great games today, Bears/Panthers and Colts/Bengals. I'm starting to wonder if these Bears are for real? I still am rather doubtful myself.

Re: THE NFL 2005-2006 Thread.
the Bears DEE is legit. best in the NFL
I think their offense is going to have to score more to win in the playoffs, though... |
