Re: My hotmail is l33t
Now that you mention it, the improvement to my account happened at about the same time I preordered Halo 2...
Coincidence, or conspiracy? |

Re: My hotmail is l33t
Is your account close to maxing the storage? I'm thinking maybe they're giving it mainly to people who are always near full storage, like me. I have pages of emails I have never deleted, because they contain valuable information I may need at some point, so basically every day I'm just checking my hotmail for the sole purpose of cleaning it out to have space for important emails.
But now I'm always at 1% used storage. W00T |
Re: My hotmail is l33t
ok nevermind I have 250MB now..........
Maybe it's for accounts that have been open for a certain amount of time? I've been using this one E-mail account since I ever started doing stuff on the intranet yeaaaars ago.... I dunno... |
Re: My hotmail is l33t

Re: My hotmail is l33t
Well I sent Hotmail an email on the matter and they responded a little later than they promised, but they certainly seem very nice and understanding on the matter. Here's what they had to say:
"Hello Jason, Thank you for writing to MSN Hotmail. I apologize for the delay in responding to your message. Every message that Hotmail receives is very important. Unfortunately, we recently received an extremely high volume of e-mail messages. Thank you for your patience. My name is Lovella and I am responding to your inquiry about your account's storage capacity that has not yet been upgraded. I understand how important it will be for you to have a bigger mailbox in order to store more important messages. We are still on the process of upgrading all free accounts to a larger storage capacity of 250MB. There are still a lot of free accounts that has yet to be upgraded. Please do not worry as we did not leave you behind. You are important to us, and our Technical Support Engineers are working hard on this, so you could enjoy the benefits of a 250MB account the soonest possible time. I understand that it's taking us some time to finish the process and I thank you for your patience. With over 170 million accounts, we would like to make sure that the performance of each account will not, in any way, be affected. As our valued customer, we always would like to provide you the best possible e-mail experience using our service. Thank you for your continued understanding and support to MSN Hotmail. Re: My hotmail is l33t
Hmm, that's good news, I guess I just have to be patient with it, though I do have that 2 GB worth of e-mail space with my two gmail accounts, so I don't know why I care too much...
