Two claps to Mr. Nobody.

The last two weeks, I've lost almost all interest in gaming. I thought I would be playing forever, but really, they are better things to do. I haven't touched my GCN or PS2, and probably won't until something really good comes out...

That is truly sad, IMO.

Very soon,hopefully.

No offence to you guys, But,videogaming has killed my social life. I'm getting sick of siiting infront of the T.V/Computer Screen wasting time when I can be outside hanging out with my friends instead of being an antisocial person who never leaves the house

LOL. Sorry, but I play videogames when I am bored and I am either wating to go out with my friends, or I am not going out with my friends on that day. LOL... antisocial my buttox.

EDIT- Holy crap. Two double posts in one thread... What the hell, I am turning into bobcat.

Why is that? If it werent for Nintendo I would be hear right now.

*hears people wishing nintendo never happened*

So, when they leave I just dont find much purpose as most games I buy are theirs.

Oooohohoho maaaaan...

Really, Nintendo is just recycled material and some great third companies. When Nintendo dies, gaming will be superior to what it is now. Allow me to flashback for example...

"Oh man, Centipede is aweso... err... RADICAL! The day the Atari dies, videogaming will be over forever."

..20 "someodd" years later..

"Hmm, what? I've given up on gaming. All they have now is this Mario stuff... and that 'Hay low" thing. What's that you say... Centipede 3D?! I'm GAME!"

Y'see, Nintendo is supposed to die and fertilize the future's soil.

Aaand, for the poll. I selected the marriage/job looking one... only because one works best who is out of a dungeon with low HP!

Mr.Nobody 01-24-2003 09:26 PM

I'm done with videogames.

The habit is almost over!

I just(finally) unpluged my gamecube and got my mom to hide the cords.Only one more device to get unhooked from(The Computer).

Only problem is everybody
(in my house) doesn't want to unplug the computer. Hopefully I will soon find a way to keep me off of this computer.

(Once again no offence to you guys).

I'll be 30 in 10 years time (actually 33).

I'll be teaching my kids how to play KOF. They won't eat or sleep until I am happy with their performances. Then we will travel the world entering KOF comps and winning millions of dollars.

And yes I'll still be playing video games

GameMaster 01-24-2003 10:57 PM

Never. I intend to be a kid at heart forever. Time is my only enemy, but they'll never get me to grow up.

And as for Mr. Nobody and that other nobody (pun intended), playing video games doesn't mean you have no life and are cut off from being social. The real problem is you lack any self control and can't limit yourself. You can play video games and still have a fun, social, active life. Don't go blaming it on video games. Attain some discipline.

BreakABone 01-24-2003 11:09 PM

No offense to Mr.Nobody but isn't it more of your fault than anyone else's that you are addicted to games and can't get friends? I mean it is possible to play games and hang out and whatnot, if you can't manage the two you really need help. I mean games shouldn't be that vital to your life.

Ginkasa 01-24-2003 11:47 PM

Never. I most certainly won't play as much as I get older and real life kicks in, but I'm pretty sure I'll have at least one console to play from time to time.

Perfect Stu 01-25-2003 10:57 AM

Mr. Nobody...

I play/talk about gaming about an hour a day...sometimes more, sometimes less...but that doesn't stop me from chillin with a couple friends or spending a lot of time with my girlfriend. You don't have to limit yourself to one or the other...it's better to have a balance of both.

Throwing away your systems and computer aren't gonna do anything but make you want them more...

Joeiss 01-25-2003 01:11 PM

Don't throw away your systems, man. Give them to me.
