Re: Minnesota-style Pizza
I love savory pancakes, or the thinner kind, crepes. My favorite is with carmelized onions and mushrooms.
Americans tend to be too tied down when it comes to cuisine, and are afraid to experiment with non-traditional flavors. I've entered my Chili in several cook-offs and I almost always place. When I tell them my ecret ingredients are baker's chocolate and cinnamon, their jaws drop. :D |
Re: Minnesota-style Pizza
I used cinnamon and other ingredients to give tofu some taste. It was pretty good and people couldn't really guess that it was cinnamon.
Experimenting with food is nice and should be done when you're still living on your own. :D |

Chicago clearly invented the deep dish, but many of the others are pure garbage. Not taste-wise, but after spending 4 years living in California and I never once saw California-style pizza. It's a scam Bond, don't fall for it. Besides, stuffed pizza is clearly the best. |

Re: Minnesota-style Pizza
Oh yea when I visited NYC last year I went to Grimaldi's. Good stuff. We also went to Johns pizza in Manhatten which was also good, but not as good as Grimaldi's. Although, personally I prefer deep dish.
