My fellow GameTaverners, I speak to you today as a humble servant of this great land we call the Internet, a land which has nurtured and provided for us ever since Al Gore expelled it from his uterus. In the early days of GameTavern we were led by CamFu the Great and Crash the Bold, both of whom I suspect were also expelled from their respective mother's uterus. However CamFu was lost to the Great War in the East and Crash fell asleep on his couch. Not able to bear the site of a withering GameTavern I, Neo the Wise, formally known as Shop-S-Mart the Jackass, picked up the torch and carried on, with a total disregard for my own personal safety or depth of pocketbook.

And now we find our precious GameTavern blossoming like a young woman coming of age and having her first sexual experience. Thanks to the blessings of vBulletin 3 we now have several glorious features for all to enjoy, much like the enjoyment gleaned from smelling your own farts for the first time. No longer must we be confined within the walls of a single front-end style, for now we have two such choices available with more on the way. And choice, my friends, is what this great land is truly about. Imagine being forced to join a site that your parents chose, just before they choose your life-mate and condemn you to a loveless marriage full of quiet desperation and sleepless nights of alcoholic despair.

The achievement of which I am most proud would be the arcade games which we are now able to play without having to take leave of GameTavern, much like not having to leave the house when you want to play with yourself. Allow me to lay to rest any fears you may have concerning the lack of additions to our digital portfolio. I can assure you, the games are on the way. Say it with me - "The games are on the way!" Soon you will be able to challenge your fellow GameTaverner in an even wider variety of games, each of which has its own glorious story waiting to be told.

Our library of smilies knows no equal. We have the :Puke:, the , the :uhh:, and who can forget :beerchug:. These smilies and others like them give us the freedom to express ourselves in multiple fashions - much like the multiple fashions worn by the socially trendy.

We have a crack staff team, not a staff team on crack, who toil night and day to bring order and provide us with security and comfort. They are the Q-ball to the pool table, the lifeguard to the pool, and the dominatrix to the b--- uh, never mind.

Member blogs, online chat, and Black Project oddities are additional morsels we sink our teeth into, much like....food.

All in all it has been a record year for GameTavern, with membership and user activity at all-time highs. I know that with everyone's help we will continue to enjoy present levels of success as we reach for the next level, much like the next level of whatever game you happen to be currently playing.

God bless GameTavern. Thank you and goodnight.

I made a top for a green theme if you guys wind up making one. Although the color can be doctored with another layer if you still want to use it, but with a different color.

Woo. Gametavern is a grand place indeed. Although I've found myself reading/lurking more and posting less recently. I'm almost finished my most pressing school work so I'll be posting more news stories soon.

For a minute there, it sounded like you were leading up to a retirement speech. I was prepared for the worse, but then you laced the shoes of life with comical similies and a profound speech declaring an all-time high success. I'd like to attribute a portion of that success to your leadership and generosity in providing us with all these additional features using money from your own large pockets. The other portion of success must attributed to our members. For they are what makes this place so likeable. You know what they say, a mask is only as good as the person wearing it. Thank you everyone for making this the best part of my life.

I too was damn scared that for a second that GT would be no more, much like Nintendose died off way back in the day. I never want to see that happen again...

Nice speech though.

Neo forgot one part of the speech, so he asked me to post it.

"DarkMaster owns us all"

Yes sir I do.

Ah GT, we've had our times together haven't we. But most of all, I'll always remember the Taco forum. That was kick ass sh*t, straight up.

*phew*...I thought GT was about to die as well.

But it was well spoken. *claps*
Hopefully it will last forever. And a day.

And do we need a point, Typhoid? :p

*thought we were going to switch to gametavern.org or something*

*glad we're not*

And do we need a point, Typhoid? :p

Hmm.....lol...I guess not.

So basically, it was to tell us what we all knew? That we rule?

And that we are super modest as well.

Phew, I was scared there for a bit. I thought what many others did. I though you were going to pass the torch, say that Game Tavern is over. Let us hope that it never happens.

In my short time being here, I have had my share of laughs, sadness, and sheer confusion. Such as the first time I read a post by CamFuBot. Glorious times.

I am so glad that the forum has a rules so that we don't get the jerks. I have been to another forum. I traveled there on horseback. That place had only one rule, don't do anything to piss off the mods, no other. Sure you think that this is great, but think what GT would be like without rules. Flaming of the members, posts that are a word long, conversation posts that are a word long. You can see where I am going with this.

This place is great. The people here are great. It is a great enviroment here. Thank you to everyone.

That song up there is right. Being here is a glorious time. There is just like, people everywhere.

I am done now.

So, Finny McGillis and I...we were walking through this store one time, and he wanted a Reese's I think...So, he took his...80 cents out of his pocket, and he, uh, walked up to the cash register...etc, etc. :D

Yes, I can honestly say that these forums are of the best caliber. Neo and his "bottomless" pockets are responsible for this site being the great forum that it is...

"Four more years" is right, Fox 6, "Four more years" is right...

I knew GT wasn't shutting down, I wasn't scared :sneaky:
I've been with GT from it's inception, and looking back, I realise how far GT as come in terms of great posts, friendships and features. Although most of the older members don't post as often anymore ( including me) they stay hang around the forums............GT is like one big happy community, where people can express their ideas, feelings, love life ( Angrist ;) shooter :p ), admire Stacy in Jonbo's sig :sneaky:, insult BAB and of course get banned when necessary or when the Admin or mods want to have some fun ;). All in all it's a great forum.

Although we don't really talk, I just wanna say thanks Neo, I appreciate what you've done with the place. :D

This may be old, but I'd just like to throw in another motion for that green theme.

I like green websites. That is all.
