Well, no one really checks the user created wrestling group anymore, so I figured I'd post some wrestling related stuff here.

Yes, wrestling makes its triumphant return to the Sports Forum.

1) Survivor Series. I don't know about anyone else, but I am really looking forward to this PPV. The WWE have built up this show very well, and there is only one or two matches on the show that seem thrown together. The rest have a storyline driving the conflict between the two parties, which is a nice change of pace. Plus, it has Buried Alive match, and I've always been a fan of those matches. Say what you will about the Undertaker, but he has been money lately and has always been good in gimmick matches.

2) Ric Flair DVD. I just had mine delivered and it is fantastic. The first disc (1 of 3) is worth the price of the set itself. Excellent video quality, full matches, all the promos and angles leading up to the matches and commentary my the Legend himself on all of the matches in the set. Those that were fans of Flair NEED to have this, and those that have only known Flair as an old man NEED to have this to realize what a driving force he was in wrestling. No one owned a mic like Flair... NO ONE.

Any thoughts?

Well, I haven't watched wrestling for months... but Team Angle looks pretty cool. McMahon should really stop wrestling, and Shane should wrestle more. :)

I have never been a fan of Ric Flair. I met him in the wrong place at the wrong time (picking on my nWo). You think this may be able to change things?

I also feel like this PPV has been built up very nice. IMO the way things have built up have been superior to every PPV this year including WM. Sadly I won't be able to order it.

This will definitely change your mind. His character in the 80's is completely different to the one he had in the 90's.

Honestly, in the late 80's e is hands down the best all around worker in the world. His matches with Barry Windham (SOOOOOOO underrated) and Ricky Steamboat are nothing short of EPIC.

Its also great to watch the angles to see how great WRESTLING angles used to be. The booking was tight and made sense at all times.

***** out of 5 stars

I believe the hype!

I thought Survivor Series was a sweet PPV.

I hope the Austin story plays out, and why was the SmackDown Survivor Series style match the opener?

For the most part I agreed with the matches, Cena and Benoit can now feud with Lesnar and Show. Angle is gonna be gone a for a little bit as well as Taker making them the main faces.

Goldberg was finally made to look like a worthwhile champion and finally someone squashed Triple H, even with a delayed 3 count.

I thought the Raw- Survivor Series match was good, even though it did make HBK look rather strong.

There was a lot of filler material when they could have kept Noble/Tajiri on the PPV.

With the performance that Michaels put on, he deserved to look strong. He is STILL the man when it comes to PPV's.

I was shocked when Angle went out early. I'm guessing because of the neck. I'm even more shocked that they had Lesnar tap out to Benoit. Anytime Benoit gets a shot at the title I'm a happy man, even though I know he'll never be put over for the strap.

Overrall, great PPV

Jericho = greatness

they had Lesnar tap out to Benoit.

WT...?

This PPV sounded nice. A good change for the WWE... sadly they are probably gonna go back to the split PPVs which I can't imagine having much quality

Off Topic: Anyone see an ROH sign at Raw tonight? And Raw is in Cali...

Nothing can stop the spread of greatness...

I was wondering if anyone knows a cheap place to buy DVDs or something?

I want to buy the Ric Flair Collection DVD, but I want a lower price.

They have it for the same price as highspots.

Actually, I think it's the same site somewhat.
