Let's say we won't get a Perfect Dark. Do you think TimeSplitters 2 comes near to what PD0 could be??
I've seen the trailer yesterday, and it looks fun! And multiplayer looks pretty cool too! It won't be as polished as PD0 would be, but it's still a good shooter!

I dont think TS2 will be better than PD(0). Yeah, its made of former Goldeneye people, but I dont think they worked on PD. I think a few came over after PD, but I'm not sure. But PD0 will be better once Rare gets it to that standard only seen by 2 companies, and you know which companies I'm talking about;)

If you mean a generic N64-looking and playing archaic shooter then, yes. I played a demo of the Xbox version and, outside of some really inspired cartoony character animation it plays extremely blah. Like, pardon my french, a 6 year old N64 game. Mostly because Free Radical's staff did nothing but Goldeneye (they left while PD was still in development hell).
TS2 won't be better than PD0. At least from the demo it seems to indicate that Free Radical are just not trying very hard with it. The enviroments are looking extremely sparse and, if the one level leaves any indication, it'll revert to a lot of "go hunt for the keycard and unlock the door and get the thing which will lead to another thing which does something else before you're allowed to kill anyone" gameplay. Still. I'll leave my reservations once PD0 emerges and I play Time Splitters 2 some more..... on Xbox :)

TS2 sucks ass. Granted I hated PD, that was mostly because they just turned Goldeneye into well "suck." Didn't do much, just made a crappy version of Goldeneye, and it felt like I was playing the same game over again.
TS2 just sucks. Control being the worst problem.

I played a demo of this game the other day, and I wasn't impressed.
