What is the best concert that you have ever been to? Was it when you were a little kid? Or when you were (still) a teen? Who performed? Who opened? And did you buy any memorabelia???
I went to the Canada Jam last night, and it was probably the best concert that I have ever been to. Nobody really opened up, because there were three bands that played. One of my favourites, David Wilcox, played first, and it was amazing. He played all of his great songs, but he didn't play "Do the Bear Cat". :(
After he performed, the was about a 20 minute break (in which my brother, his friend and I) walked around. Then Kim Mitchelle to the Max played. This was a better-than-expected performance. He played alot of great songs (half of which I never heard before). But he didn't play A Million Vacations. :(
Then there was another 20 minute break. And then the Guess Who hit the stage. Man-O-Man. This was an outstanding perfomance. They played for 2 hours straight. All of their number one hits were played. My favourite, Share the Land, was played as the encore.
Damn this was a great show! But I didn't get any t-shirts, because they were too expensive. I'll just go look for Guess Who t-shirts at some stores. So... Yep. Tell us what your favourite concert was.
