My arms are killing me!!! AHHHHHHH.

On Thursday I did a pretty heavy biceps and triceps workout. I did a warmup, then some stretching, and then I went into my routine. However, I didn't do a cool down or any stretches afterwards. Now, two days later, I cannot bend my arms any more than 90 degrees (either way).

So, can somebody tell me please how to get rid of the buildup, once it is allready here. And what cooldown can I do that will stop the buildup in my arms? Thanks.

You need a massage..a professional one..I'm not talking about the one mommy will give you or your GF will. Oh yeah get someone to stretch your arm, that helps plus it feels good.

But that's the only method I know that gets rid of Latic acid .....if you can't get a massage just stretch alot... and it should go away in a few days ( ps the massage doesn't get rid of it right away either but it get's out faster).....and if you don't want to feel like this again don't work the muscle so hard again. lol

Ps: did you do stretch after ever two sets??

Tip: be sure your getting your 21 grams of protein ;) your muscles need it. :D oh yeah I know what it feels like.....I did a heavy work out with legs....and damn it hurt like hell...I couldn't walk properly for about 5 days.

I hope my information helps....unless someone has a better solution.

Sounds good. I hae been stretching my arms about once every hour. But it still hurts like a bizatch. I can now move my right arm a bit more, but my left arm is still stuck at 90 degrees (when I am not stretching it out).

My brother went to the gym today, and he saw that there was a rowing machine in the front. So next time I will use that as a cool down. Hopefully that will work.

And I am supposed to stretch after every two sets?!?! I did not know that. I'll do that next time I go, then.

Yeah I usually stretch for all my routines after two sets...especially legs ( which I hate to do btw). If ever catch cram in them....man I don't even want to imagine that.

Your arms will better in a couple of days. Then you get to do the routine all over again.:D;)

Oh yeah since your left arm is killing you I assume your left handed right??

Yeah! My arms feel so much better! I can actually put them straight without having to use my other hand! It still hurts a bit, but not like yesterday, thankfully.

Nope. I am right handed. I try to lift the same amount on both arms so it is even.

Errrrr I meant to put that your right handed..hehehe my bad....your weakest hand usually hurts the most if you push the same weight on each hand...hehehe just a little typo my bad.
