No, Theutida... you should have tried the game the day it came out. I love it but now there is only a handful of servers where there are no cheaters. Since the servers are hosted by people from the community they some times accept donations from the users and give them benefits that break the game's balance. And the community, even though is still good, is not as awesome as it used to be. Meet the Medic was funny but it wasn't the character introducing himself to the audience like the others pretty much were. And man, these videos are getting bloodier every time a new one comes out. LOL. Now they only need to introduce the Pyro which should be require them to be clever since he only mumbles. I hope this brings more people back into the game and also better servers. The community is not in its prime anymore.

When TF2 came out, it rivaled some of the best multiplayer games in terms of balance, gameplay, and teamwork required. The class updates threw things off a bit, but fans were left with the impression that all classes would get updates thus reverting it back to a balanced shooter. And then came the hats and the marketplace and having to unlock weapons and it went south pretty rapidly in terms of cohesive gameplay.

What can you do though...the game was practically given away even at the time of launch, and it was apparently an experiment in content.

I actually thought the hat market place was a joke. €3 for a stupid hat?? That's almost as much as the whole game used to cost.

I've never been bothered by hats...YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY THEM. It seems like no one understands that. This is a cheap game that has been supported with a ridiculous amount of free content. Please forgive the developers for trying to make a little money with optional DLC that provides no advantage what-so-ever.

That being said, meet the Medic was an awesome video. I love TF2, I've spent over 130 hours on the game. I don't play much these days, mostly because of all the new content they added for each class that I'm too lazy to learn.

I thought nobody bought hats, now I'm told that that is the reason the game is becoming free-to-play. I'm amazed to find that they're selling well.
