just one question for the side of evil, do you REALLY want a base that tall? Would suck if had to get out in a hurry. :lolz:

No portal storms! The portal storm happened after The Citadel exploded. We dont want that to happen.
And I have no problem with a portal system but they were more so developing a teleportaion system. The Combine had just made one in Nova Prospekt and although it exploded, the data for it is probably still lying around somewhere.
Haha, that can be my super power, implementing Combine technology in the story.:p
And Bond, your pushing it. Do you wish to evoke the wrath of The Combine Overwatch?

Theres no Overwatch. They only exist in the Half Life world. You cant make up the universe, plus it would imply that the world is ruled by the bad guys. Which is isnt.

KillerGremlin doesn't need elevators. I can just become invisible, fall through all the floors, and reappear at the bottom. Duuuuuh.

The Citadel has different modes of transportation, the main mode being dropships. There are also high speed elevators, normal elevators, and if you really wanted to, you could jump from the top and land in a suspension field. Plenty of ways to get off The Citadel in a hurry!

Or too soon and you crash into the floor?

You havnt played much HL2 have you? There are force fields everywhere that intruders/escapees cant get through as well as a bunch of me's roaming around all over. And we have a teleportation device in the works.
I wouldn't even want to infiltrate that.

We like to live it up in style, all our floors are either made out of the same material that superballs are made out of, or they are padded with pillows for maximum comfort. It's not a biggie.
Also, our citadel has a basement, several in fact, so it would be pretty hard for me to go beneath the building and have any major problems. :D

I said there was a dropship, it doesnt even have guns. And I dont have any superpowers so throwing in objects that would help me's out and stay in context with me's being Combine Soldiers is the next best thing.
