Glad BaB helped me pass this message along, lol. Also, it feels weird having this username. Vamp, if you get a chance, can you just change my username to BlueFire?

I still talk to Xantar via Facebook whenever I get the chance (or he sees me sign onto the PVG page from time to time)...
I've pretty much stuck to Twitter, G+ and YouTube now- still the same guy, married with kids and still gaming when I get the chance.
Turns out, you eventually get to the point where you can afford every game and system you want to play, but then this awkward polarity exists where you either no longer have time to play them, or any interest to with the way some of the yucky economical practices publishers are forced to use these days.
Time to build my own studio, I suppose.

Ha, that is so spot on! I now have quite a backlog of games I have purchased on Steam or elsewhere that I have yet to really play much of. The desire is still there for the most part, but the time is not. I will say though, despite the fact that I COULD pay $60 at launch for most of the games I want to play, I very seldom do. I have no problem waiting several months or longer to get the games I want at discounted prices for probably 90% of my game purchases. There will still be that occasional must have title that I will blow $60 bucks for, of course!

This. It doesn't always pay off for Nintendo titles, but on other systems and Steam I get GOTY classics sometimes for less than $20 since I "waited" (translation: played other games in my backlog, or current games that take too long to finish like Xenoblade).
Having a lack of time to game sucks, but it's still satisfying to know that if I could buy a game I want, I can regardless of price or platform.
