Default The two new gamecube games...

I posted this as a reply in another topic, but here... I dunno if these are the two new gamecube games that were mentioned in... some... little thing saying there would be two new gamecube games announced tomorrow... buuut...

http://www.mag64.de/ngc/previews/soul.htm

http://www.mag64.de/ngc/previews/hidden.htm

A sequel to a crappy game and a game... made by... I dunno who... and I dunno what it's supposed to be like...

it's from some german site, some guy posted it at IGN...

I just figured I'd make it a topic... cuz nobody has replied to the topic since I replied to it, although it's not too far from the top of the list...

Note: These are from the PS2/X-Box/PC Version because the GCN version is too early in development.

They don't look too interesting, IMO.

Cube-Europe reveals the games

They are Outlaw Golf and Darkened Skye (no, that's not a typo; that's actually how they spell it in the title) from Merscom.

The description for Darkened Skye is just screaming "Overhype" to me. It says that it will have a free-roaming quality like Zelda (we all know what happens to games that compare themselves to Zelda) with a more sophisticated storyline and more humor. The storyline, supposedly full of emotional pulls, is written by some award-winning author (who the author is and what award he/she received is not revealed).

Outlaw Golf...involves some female golfers in short skirts and tight shirts playing semi-realistic golf with the ability to beat up on your cabby. This is supposed to be hilarious.

Do I really need to make fun of this game?

Oh well, at least the two games I mentioned were new

But these other two look better... although not by much...

I don't really like golf...

and like Xantar said about the other one, "we all know what happens to games that compare themselves to Zelda"

That lady reminds me of Aika from Skies of Arcadia for some reason.... Probably just because they have the workd "sky" in common

Hmm, both of the two new games are kinda stupid, maybe worth renting, but i dono, i think darkened sky's could be the next Quest 64...we all know what that was like.
