Default Car advice

So I am getting ready to buy a new car...

I want a Dodge Charger. But I am having trouble finding a good one in my price range.

Knowing that I like the Charger and Mustangs; does anyone have any suggestions of comparable cars to look at?

Tell my wife and children I love them in his last breath

Hey, that's my car!

Accord Coupe is the way to go though, a perfect compromise between performance and efficiency. Very reliable as well.

You should get an APC.

Chargers eh? well, there's the dandy Dodge Challenger. Pontiac firebird, chevy camaro, nova, gran torino, ......so are you kidding? If you like chargers, but you don't know what other cars are of the same type, maybe you shouldn't be buying one. You do realize that a lot of work is involved in maintaining a vehicle that old. If it doesn't need regular service then expect to pay a lot for one in good shape. Do you know how to work on cars yourself? Mechanic fees are super steep for simple do-it-yourself fixes. Are you prepared to be spanked by the guy in a honda civic? Cuz if this is about wanting a fast car you might want to look at something newer. Performance out of an old muscle car is only competitive if you're willing to have a 400 + engine. I understand the appeal of muscle cars but it's so impractical, I'm having a hard time suggesting anything. What's your price range? You don't want to be driving a charger in the winter, especially if it's performance geared. Muscle cars from the 60's-70's are a hobby thing, for older guys who can afford multiple vehicles and all the other expenses involved.

A little out of touch?

Dodge Charger was put back into production as a 4 door sedan in 2006.
Dodge Challenger resumed production as a coupe on the same platform as the Charger in 2008.

Before you spout off a snippy post, at least make sure you have half a clue as to what you're talking about.

ahhh jeep, I know they're back in production I just skimmed over the 'new car' and looked at the 'finding a good one in my price range' so I assumed he was talking about oldies.
my bad dimhalo. I apologize for my snippy post.

Yeah, I've done some research. But I am a little lazy. That's why I thought I would ask you all. I hadn't considered the Accord Coupe. I'm gonna look into it, but I've got a dog and 4 doors would probably be better.

You can probably get a 90s GT Convertible Mustang in your price range. The yellow ones are total chick cars.

She's a teacher so she needs to avoid anything that would cause sexual arousal with male students.
