Movie Plot Twist-Up: Twitter Style

This is stolen from somewhere that stole it from somewhere else. The basic idea is to flip the scipt of the movie in I believe 160 characters or so, not sure the exact twitter limit.

Some examples,

Spiderman: radioactive man bites a spider, giving it human abilities.

Benjamin Button - Man gets older, everybody else gets younger.

Pleasantville: Brother and sister introduce order and conformity into a lively small town, only to be snatched away into an even more chaotic and uncaring world.

Willy Wonka: A young boy's chocolate factory is taken from him in a hostile takeover by a eccentric capitalist in a top hat. The boy ends up living in the slums in abject poverty with his mother and bedridden grandparents.

I think it's 140 characters but it doesn't matter, 160 is all good.

As a side-note, there's an actual term for this, it's called a log line. I only know this because of a film class I took. But it's basically a one sentence summary of the pitch that people give to studios when proposing a movie or TV show.

Just want to make sure Twitter doesn't get undue credit.

War of the Worlds: Aliens use their regeneration rays to bring back the world and its people from the brink of destruction while a man grows increasingly alienated from his children.

It was something along those lines.
