I've heard that for an MBA you want to go out and work and get some real world experience for a few years before pursing the MBA.
I'm going to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology and a Minor in Gender and Women Studies. The GWS Minor is to help me with Graduate school so I can apply into a Clinical Psychology program that emphasizes sexual studies (as my goal is to do Relationship/Sexual Therapy).
I honestly have minimal interest in Business and would prefer to work close with helping people and furthering my knowledge in the field of Psychology. And the PHD program for Clinical Psychology is quite intense, it's 4 years of heavy coursework plus 2-3 years of time for a Dissertation, plus time for an internship and time for the required APA certification.
That is of course if I can get into a PHD program. My GPA is not great due to my time in Engineering. I need to see how the GRE goes, what research I can get over the next year and a half, what letters of recommendation I can secure, and all that fun stuff. I'm really hoping I can knock out a 1200 on my GRE.
