I would just like to say while mercy killing manasecret seems like the right thing, if he doesn't play will eventually be taken out for inactivity.

If we vote for him in round 1, we are going to be stuck in the same place we are now. Unless of course he is a bad guy, which would be awesome.

But again if he gets suspended for inactivity, we don't have to waste a day's vote.

Chewbacca if truly you are the seer then with all your previous experience you should know that outing yourself from the start seems like a very foolish idea. You make yourself the Imperial's prime target.

In every mafia game I've run, the guardian usually just protects random people. I have only ever in three games of Mafia on this forum, seen a guardian successfully use his power twice.

Usually they're just crap shooting it. So giving the guardian a logical person to protect isn't handicapping them in any way.



I need to be able to live past the first round so I can start to form a network. I realistically am only going to survive a few rounds so I need to get stuff done fast.

I really can't see what I would accomplish if I was in the mafia and making a huge spectacle of myself. If I couldn't back up my claim in a few rounds I'd be dead.




Also, I'm in contact with someone claiming to be the vigilante. I'm seering them this round. If you guys humour me for one round, and that person is telling the truth, I'll be able to prove my identity by telling you who the vigilante is going to kill before the end of round tomorrow.

In all honesty I don't think any one would of even thought of that, looking how the votes have swung and the posts, I don't think any one would have voted you out for being more expierienced.

I wont be changing my post because, I decided to go with my first instinct, which was to trust you. I believe you are the seer, but I still think you've made a foolish move outing yourself straight away, I do understand your reasoning for it, I just don't agree with it. I feel like you could of lasted one or two rounds at least before anyone started seeing your previous knowlege as a thret.

I understand perfectly what I am saying thankyou. I do not believe that you are the seer. I believe you are falsely seeking protection from the guardian.
I do not believe you would be prime target just because of your experience in previous games, and the thing I can not get my head round is that if you are the seer why in the hell did you out yourself, it is not logical.

Just getting my 2nd post in.

I read it all, and you really can't say much in round one.

In previous mafia games I've gone completely analytical, suspecting everyone and explaining why some are more suspicious than others.
But it rarely helped. Of my 5 accusations, only 2 were right.
And I don't have time for that anymore, since I'm pretty busy with my thesis.

So I'll just play it easy. I'm sticking with my manasecret vote, because he already said he probably wouldn't be able to play much.
I don't hear anyone whining about it though, so that could mean he's a good guy (bad guys would defend their team mate, right?).

The more I think about it, the more I am confused by Dylflon's move. True if you actually are the seer, this will hook you and the guardian up immediately. However, even if that does work, your handicapping the guardian by basically forcing him to guard you every round. Also, Dylflon can't possibly know anything yet, so I don't see what you gain by outing yourself this early.

I'm nervous about changing my vote this early in the game with no actions to base it on, but I also don't want to waste it on manasecret who from everything we can tell, is innocent. Oh well, what the hell. It's not going to change anything this round anyway.
