Just finished a game with Combine, and Dylflon's other half, and it was pretty fun.

We completed Death Toll and then No Mercy... somewhat.. we get to the end with 4 team members, and one by one they all get picked off... I just kind of jump for the helicopter to make sure one person survives.

RIP Team Combine, Dylflon Alternate and Mike or something.

Indeed he did, so we got to hear all of their breaks... their quite frequent breaks.

And best of all, well as far as I know there was no lag or dropped connections for two complete campaigns.

They kept saying you could move the ting out of the way, which I seriously doubt. Plus one of them sounded like they were like 12 years old. Guess we just have to be satisfied with the fact that we kept kicking their butts as infected

And that was priceless when you asked if the door shortcut really worked, only to find it already opened :P

Haha, I was playing some LAN and they tried that door shortcut. It took them so long that us special infected pretty much destroyed them. It would have been better for them if they just activated the lift.

I guess it depends.
Fox was pretty good with it, 3 of us attacked while he hammered away at the door. We watched his back and what have you.

And let's face fact, the other team was kind of bad. We were beating them by a ratio of 10:1.

Maybe they blocked the elevator because we used that door trick...

Id doubt it. Ive seen the door trick used a lot. I think it depends more on the person being a juvenile wiener or not.

I got some advice on another forum, but it seems the easiest way to get past it is either to blow up a boomer near it or work with some type of explosive (gas tank or pipe bomb)

It was very entertaining. They were all screaming at the guy pounding at the door to get it open while he was assuring them that he had in fact done this before, as we kept dragging them out and "boomer"ing them.
