At least you still have your sanity.
I'll play it when they release a demo. I only enjoy running around stealing cars and killing people, which gets old after about 30 minutes. Not a fan of the missions. |

I think I'm about halfway through the game now...fantastic. My friends are addicted too, two of them that don't have either PS3 or 360 have been over most days since it was released.

Well after a day playing this game, I can definitely say they have upped the ante when it comes to story and mission play. That was always my main problem with the series. The story was seemingly unimportant and the missions were redundant and didn;t feel important... just ways to get cash.
GTA IV have done a great job of improving greatly on these faults, and polishing up what has alkways worked for them. The combat is MUCH better too, but still lags behind most other 3rd person games.
The city is AMAZING to witness, and feels alive and CROWDED, which it should.
So far: 8.5 out of 10 but rising as I play. My only complaint is that it hasn't seemed to create anything too innovative in the gameplay or themes beyond those of the previous GTA games. Other than that, they are simply perfecting their specific niche of gaming.

Well, I am till getting into this game.
But so far the car and character controls feel weird.
But the multiplayer is damn fine.
