No it's not out yet, on any system. Ships at the end of this month. I got a copy to review.

I am having extreme difficulties deciding which game to ask for Christmas: Warrior Within or Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
Ahh....such difficult decisions.

Get both...but if you absolutley must pick one over the other, how could you possibly not pick Metroid Prime 2?
Its the sequal to the best game of they past 4 years, and its been getting rave reviews. That ones a no brainer.

Re: Prince of Persia Rules both the time and your ass
I'd probably get MP2 over PoP2, but its hard for me to really say for sure since I've only played PoP2, and it kicks ass. But MP was awesome and I can only assume the sequel will be even better.

Yeah, I am DEFINATLY going to be getting both games, I was just wondering which one I should get for christmas and which one I should wait and buy at a later date. I did go ahead and tell my parents that I wanted Metroid Prime 2, however, considering how much I loved the first one. Not to mention this one has a new multiplayer mode...
It's going to be fantastic, but at the same time I can't wait for PoP2. I think the story sounds absolutely magnificent. The fact you are ALWAYS being chased by this fate creature out to make you repay your dept to death just gives me the chills thinking about it.

And you've never seen beauty in a game until you've seen the Garden Tower in PoP2. Oh my dear sweet Jesus...

Re: Prince of Persia Rules both the time and your ass
I just got this from Ubi Soft.
Quote:
Ubisoft, one of the world's largest video game publishers, today announced that Prince of Persia: Warrior WithinT has reached gold master status for the Sony PlayStationR2 and Microsoft XboxR. Fall's most highly-anticipated action-adventure game, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within stars a darker, edgier Prince on a journey to defy his own preordained death. The game delivers the innovative Free-Form Fighting System that allows players to create their own signature fighting style as the Prince, now a Master Warrior, has a great variety of advanced and lethal fighting techniques. Prince of Persia: Warrior Within also features a deep, mysterious storyline that leaves players guessing until the tremulous end, and deadly combat sequences so intense it will leave your heart pounding for more.
Available in stores December 2nd, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within is rated "M" for Mature and will have a MSRP of $49.99.

There is oddly no mention of a GCN version...

Yeah it's weird, looks like Sony and M$ have been nice to Ubi Soft.
But we all know the GCN version is coming.

Re: Prince of Persia Rules both the time and your ass
Well when I asked Ubi Soft about it, they said they have no comment right now, so I don't know what to think...doesn't make sense not to have a GCN version.

The GCN version has been in development. All the magazines and websites say it's coming.
You played the GCN version, didn't you?

Re: Prince of Persia Rules both the time and your ass
I got the Xbox version. And thats another thing that I forgot about, they didn't send any GCN versions for us to review. EB and Gamespot and all them still have it listed, and for the same release as the Xbox and PS2 versions, but this whole strange ordeal is confusing me.

Re: Prince of Persia Rules both the time and your ass
Hmm, looks like we've got another mystery on our hands here...
Well, it doesn't really affect me, considering I'm in it for the PS2 version.
Can't wait

Re: Prince of Persia Rules both the time and your ass
Is it coming to the PC?
The last one did. I wasn't sure about this but I just saw the PC box(sands of time) for it at my local ebgames.

Yes.
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within ships December 2 for Xbox and PS2 and shortly thereafter for GameCube and PC.
