I've already written the basics of the story, with the help of Rndm_Perfection and Dylflon, they both gave some very good ideas.

Basically, the roles, are as follows:

Hero - main character, leader of the "Resistance"
Crono - War Tactician for the "Resistance"
Rndm - A General
DarkMaster - Leader of another Empire
Bond - Mayor of the Xbox Region
BreakABone - Commanding General Of The GT Central Army (Lol, I had to give you this role, only Rndm and I would understand.. it works on so many levels)
TheGame - Mayor Of GT City (Works because you're a supermod)
Neo - Leader of GT for a while, what happens after that is a secret
Dyne - thats a secret also... but I'm sure you know most of it. But I found a use for your dead consoels thing... heheh.
gekko/CamFu - Generals serving under Neo
Spike Spiegal - Rndm requested that I made you a Tactician serving under him...
Cube (aka Segaman) - leader of another Empire with DarkMaster
Jonbo - owner of the Pub in the HQ
HappyDude - owner of the Weapons Shop in the HQ
Ginkasa - Optional Recruit, will fight for the Resistance
GameMaster - Leader of the MURS (which, luckily for you has a pretty significant role in the story)
GameKing - Mayor of the Nintendo Region
Stonecutter - Mayor of the Xbox Region after Bond is promoted (Rndm recommended that to me)
Tombor - A general for the Xbox forces, serves under Bond, then Stonecutter
Crash - another General serving under Neo
Jason1 - A general serving for the Nintendo forces, works for GameKing
Joeiss - A general serving for the Sony forces, works for Stu
BlueFire - Optional recruit. If you recruit him, you can use magic in Army battles, which is a good addition.
Dyflon - Joins the Resistance to help fight and builds a character battling arena in the castle.
DeathsHand - Optional character.
Stu - Mayor of Sony City
FissionMailed - Item Shop Owner
Vampyr (or Zalu Ragar) - Mercenary, meets the hero early in the game. Helps form the Resistance.
Ominub - Armor Shop Owner
"Hero2" - Innkeeper

Hmm. That's about it so far I think, keep in mind there are still HQ positions that need to be filled. Also note that a number of roles were put there by me... that's because I think it would go nicely with the storyline. And the ones I did force are important roles anyway... so be happy, heh. I will update later with the locations and where everyone starts.

I could be some big old washed up battle warrior legend or something, who the player goes to in need of some help. A hired goon of sorts

But the player must give me some incentive to help them.

Like ObiWan in 'A New Hope'. I've left battling for a private life. And I'd be angrier than him. Sorta like Gimli. Stories have been passed around the country about my glorious battles, but nobody knows if they're true. The character seeks my help, in hopes that I can provide him with some hired muscle.

Thoughts?

Actually, I forgot to include you in the list... you would be the perfect person for mayor of Sony City... I would rather you be that person, as I already have story ideas for you.

FissionMailed wants to be the item shop guy. Originally from the Playstation region.

I say make it so. I don't think anyone else wantes to be it.

And put THRILLHO as leader of the Nintendo knights. At first powerful enemy, then...uh...he could be...actually...he's just a boss.

or you named him hero because hes the main hero of the resistance. anyway sweet

I believe that the main character is not a member of GT. He's just "the hero".

Your grammar and spelling abilities are too poor for you to be a hero.

Hero2, you are not the main character. The Hero is the main character in the game, he is a new person who was just came to GT. The player can name him whatever they want.

the enemy positions have been taken. The best you can be now is an Innkeeper, just an optional recruit, or someone who can provide some sort of service to the castle.

Sweet. Mercenary is, in my opinion, the coolest position ever. Can you say "Gafgarion" (FFT reference)

Ill be an innkeeper. Can I atleast be confusing when i talk, my charactor that is, I love to confuse and disoreantate people.
