Remember that Nintendo still owns a 49% share in stock with Rare. The Stamper Brothers holds a 51% share. Since the Stamper Brothers are the one's selling the stock, Microsoft would get their stock if they win the bid. Since Nintendo still holds the 49%, Microsoft won't fully own Rare, it'll be more like Nintendo owning half and Microsoft owning the other half.
So, now you ask about the fate of PD0. It's really hard to tell which console it'll end up on, maybe both.
