Re: LOST : season 4
*Spoilers ahead*
Well, after having watched it, I have to say - I don't believe that Jin is dead. I don't really want to talk about the episode, and my theories, but his tombstone said his date of death was 22.09.2004 - the day of the plane crash. Which is impossible, because we know that Jin is alive some time past 25.12.2004.

Here's me theory. Has anyone seen Donnie Darko here? I think the whole tangent universe may be going on.

I've been comparing Lost to Donnie Darko ever since..the middle of the 2nd season - although I don't really remember why I started to think this. But, for example, Desmond's time-traveling consciousness seems to fit into this theory. As well as some other stuff.
But this still doesn't explain the mysteries of the island, of Walt and all the other things that have boggled our minds..

Its a part of the cover up. And Jin is actually still on the island. And even though Jack and Sun want to go back, they can't. Because once you leave the island, you can never find it again.
Unless... Ben knows of a way...

There's too much talk of a cover up. I just have a feeling that it isn't a cover up, and something more complex, something along the lines of Desmond's travels.

Re: LOST : season 4
Well, it seems like the Oceanic Six were all given a large sum of money. Maybe it was part of a lawsuit or they were just awarded it for all the distress the plane crash has caused them.
But I'm sure part of the deal is that in exchange for the money, they keep hush about all the dead people in the ocean just being placed there as part of an elaborate staging.
I also think maybe they made some kind of pact with everyone who stays on the island instead of going back home. Cause I know Sawyer and Locke don't want to go back.
So if Jack and the other five tell the world they were the only ones that survived, no one will go back looking for the people who remain.

Re: LOST : season 4
I just thought about something - the ones that might be left behind are the ones with no families, nobody to know they're gone. Jin, Sawyer, Locke.. People would go looking for bodies of their families - but these don't have families..
Damn, this took half an hour to write on a cell phone..

Re: LOST : season 4
spoiler
Thank God they finally killed Rosseau. That lady was a flaming nut-job. I never liked her.
And Sayid gets a thumbs-down from me this week for turning in Michael to the Captain.
It's finally becoming clear that Ben Linus is actually a good guy. And this Widmore character is actually the evil villain.

Re: LOST : season 4
What does everyone think about the island not letting Michael kill himself?
Personally, I don't think it really has to do with the island per say, but has to do with the distortion of time. Perhaps he can't kill himself because he's still alive on the island? Or perhaps time travels in reverse on the island, so he couldn't kill himself back in the "real world" because he's already lived past that moment?
