Exactly, it's all opinion, no mixing facts...
I would take plenty of games over Metroid prime this generation.

I agree that PS2 has more quality games than NGC... *shrugs*
But I think maybe TheGame didn't give Metroid much of a chance... I agree that the beginning of the game was quite boring (Infact when I first played, when I first arrived on the planet I stopped playing for awhile simply because it wasn't fun at all up until that point... Even early on the planet wasn't very fun), but it got better...... Just not as good as some of these people here say, IMO

What about the quality of the programming? The time put into it? the bugs? Maximization of the hardware use? THose kind of facts.
And yes, you are right, I can't tell the future and predict if games are going to be better of not, but from what I saw (don't get me wrong here I love some of the PS2 games out there and I own a PS2) I don't think it's going to happen.

I imagine they will have a shortage, or at least use more then one planned shipment to meet demand. Unless they anticipated this.

I have........
My opinion is totally different from yours though. For me, R&C was good, but upto the 90th shine or so in SMS, R&C can't touch SMS.
Oh and DsH, do you have any 'proof' that TWW is selling like it is only because of the bonus disk? From what I remember, you preordered Zelda because of TWW correct? You never really saw the big deal with it did you? And anyway, that argument doesn't stand up anyway, because most places ask you to put down $15 for the preorder, and they give you a bonus disk. Now if anyone wanted to return TWW, sure they could keep the onus disk, but they would have still spent $15. Now why would they do that for an old game? Then there is the 250,000 or so preorders that were placed before people knew about the bonus disk/the official campaign. Sure the bonus disk did help raise those figures somewhat, but there's no denying that many preordered the game for TWW itself.
Besides, so what if supposedly, the only reason TWW was selling because of the bonus disk? It IS selling after all?

Its about how fun the game is.. not how purty it is.. otherwise TheGame would have liked it more ... i dont care how good the programming is if the game is bad....

I never said it was selling this good ONLY because of the bonus disc (at least I don't think I did), I meant that it's probably playing a big factor... As for the whole pre-order, return WW and keep bonus disc... You can't return the game without returning the bonus disc... At least that's how it is on ebgames.com... And if you returned the game, you would have got your 15 dollars back anyways...
But yeah I pre-ordered WW way back when EBgames started taking pre-orders... long before they announced the bonus disc dealy...

Like I said .
Oh, you're right about the preorder thing though, I kind of misread what you typed earlier .
But anyway.
How about predictions for how much this game will sell worldwide? There are roughly around 9-10 million Cubes worldwide (not toally sure, could it be 8-9?), with Zelda yet to be released in Europe (Not forgetting the US either ).
