Yeah that's not really much to brag about saying GC has the best kiddy games, it's kind of sad.

well, they are good enough that most Nintendo fans wouldn't even consider them kiddy... Like Mario, Mario Party, Animal Crossing, Smash Brothers Etc.

(keep in mind, this is by my definition of kiddy, 100% image 0% if the game is easy or hard or good or not)

So how come Gamecube never got Britney's Dance Beat? BASTARDS!

Actually, that should go for a lot of games on the PS2.

I seriously hope you're kidding around because I totally pulled that "study" out of my ass.

Although the GSS and NES are trustworthy sources of information in the same tier as the Gallup polls.

Do you know how many times I've heard Nintendo fans exclaim that Nintendo makes the best games ever?
I'd venture to say in the thousands range.....which totally represents the majority population of "Nintendo fans".

Btw, them ppl need to get a life, or something like it.

I think all things that divert people's attention from what is real to what is strictly imaginable's kiddy. But then again, that's just me. And I'm not saying what's kiddy is necessarily bad or not worthy of an adult's time. But hell, how many people with a graduate degree do you see fire up Mario with their kids, right?

2 successful consoles kills off Sega.
Well, I'm sure the DC was a mild success in the least. It wasn't the flavor of the year, but it wasn't a Showgirls of the consoles either.

PS - I think the intelligence (or lack thereof) of gamers and not the companies' faults will mark the downfall of the console industry. So naturally, it's not Nintendo or Sega who're at fault for f*cking up their reps, it's us dumbass gamers.

I don't know who the "kiddy games" on the PS2 are targeted at. I mean, the kids that I babysit have a PS2, and they have NO kiddy games at all. They play Tekken, NHL Hits, Spiderman etc. They aren't into "kiddy games" at all. Same with all their friends, too.

It depends on what you consider a kiddy game, and if a kiddy game is bad. I wouldnt consider SMS, TWW, Metroid, even Pikmin, to be kiddy games. And Nintendo now owns the company that I think has made one of the most mature games to be created in that it depends on more then gore and blood and has a very intelectual story.

I think they're referring more to the graphics than to how mature the game is.
