Well, Jeepnut the only bands i heard are Mxpx and Jimmy eat world. MXPX are pretty good, so so. But i like Jimmy eat world he makes some good songs. but some suck. But i never heard the other bands. do you like any other ones.

Uh....Jimmy Eat World would be a band. Not a singular person.
Yes I do like other bands, but I figured we would start with these.
Also, I think you missed the point. I bring up bands I like. If you don't know them, click on the links provided and listen to a song or two on their website. After you have done that, return and give me your DETAILED opinion. Including VALID reasons for likes/dislikes.
Anybody think they can do that? M'kay?

Well, here is the genre of the bands I listed:
Five Iron Frenzy - Ska
MXPX - Punk
Ace Troubleshooter - Pop punk
Project 86 - Hard rock/Metal (I guess some might call them Nu-Metal but they are much better than that.)
Jimmy Eat World - You guys should know this one. If not, emo.
Finger Eleven - Kinda tough to classify but definitely has links to hard rock and metal. Very dark sounding band.

Lmao. Ok well anyways, I like nfg. They're a good band. What can I say? I'm a punk fan. I also like mxpx, and some jimmy eat world, like jeepnut mentioned. I also like Linkin Park though, they're not bad either, but anyways, i might be going to the NFG concert coming up here soon...

I didn't know there was such a thing as skater punk. I thought all punk was just common to skater culture. That's a new one on me.
Also, basically what you are saying is that once a punk band becomes popular and thus mainstream, they aren't punk anymore? So what's the proper term for mainstream punk?
I don't like the term emo either. I just use it because that's what everyone else calls it.

 Thanks. It was long and hard but I survived. lol, It was an extremely hot summer this summer, but anyways, all of band camp paid off, because we're doing pretty good this year with marching band. Anyways, we're going to Carie (sp), NC like November 2-3, and then later we're going to Orlando  *can't wait* lol. ok well anyways, I like mabey one Weezer song..although I haven't heard many, but i still prefer NFG..
