i'm at 50 shines now and i've been to every level (and quite a few bonus levels too). **Possible Spoilers** I think Niko Bay (formally known as Mare Bay in the jap version) is probly the coolest. its so huge and amazing, its like an enormous green cliff towering over purple-neon-ish glowing water with 3 huge green spiraling towers right in the middle. unbelieveable. sirena beach is awesome too, a sunset beach with a boo hotel, which is friggin sweet. and pianta village (formally known as monte village in jap version) is amazing. a huge grass jungle village sits high atop 3 gigantic palm trees with hot lava sludge pouring here and there. underneath the village is a scaling mesh of vine nets with fungus and mushrooms sprouting out of the trees. all happening in the middle of the night under a pearl full moon glow. dat sh*t be kickin!! it gets a lot harder later on so prepare thyself!

As Penguin knows I hated the game at first and enjoyed making fun of it. Then I saw the E3 demo and thought it looked very fun. Now I'm getting sick of the shine madness. I've seen too much already and I hadn't even had a second with it. That and Gadd Industries still hasn't fixed my FLUDD I sent in over a year ago.

I had the game for about 2 days now, and haven't really touched it.
I played it on only two occasions since I got it. Test play rather.
I think I'm going to have tons of fun with this game. It's not that I lost excitement for it, I think I've managed to control my excitement. I remember one time I would rush home and literally rip the game box apart and load X, Y or Z game as quickly as I could.
Now, I just realize that the games I buy will always be here for my entertainment, and I can play them when ever I want, no need to rush unless I'm bored out the ass . So in the mean while, I did other stuff.
Man, when I finally play SMS(I might need an extra memory card)it'll make up for the times I didn't.
I'm gonna fuk Mario's little plumber boy a$$ up soon. You wait and see!
lol, that sounds extremely gay, but who cares, you guys know what I mean.
well, you do... right?......... right?

I've only gotten to play the game for about 1.5 hours so far, and have gotten 4 shines.
It's an awesome game, but I'm not very good at it yet.
For instance, I couldn't beat that cave in the 1st level, in which you have to press the switch, and collect the 8 red coins inside. It's freaking hard.
BTW, I have a question: As soon as I get 10 blue coins, should I go to the boathouse right away to buy the Shine?
Because I got 10 and went to buy it, and he asked me 'am I sure I wanna buy it' 2 or 3 times, sort of leading me to believe that I should save up the blue coins.
Any reason for this, or should I just trade them in fore the shine every time I get 10?

as far as i know saving blue coins wont do anything in particular. there is sorta one advantage to saving them, cuz say if you save them and trade 30 or wutever at one time you'll get 3 shines right there which is faster than going there over and over everytime you get 10 blue coins. its a good question though, i dont know why the guy asks "are you sure" because there really isnt any significance to the blue coins other than trading them for shines. maybe someone else knows.

Well, if you want to get 120 shines you have to find all the blue coins and trade them in for Shines. But if you don't want to get 120 shines I guess you don't have to trade them in. You might want to just keep them and not trade them in so you know how many you have collected.

You will enjoy it very much, Danny. Turn that frown upside down and make yourself a grilled cheese sandwhich to pass the time.
