I didn't find it weird.... much.
I mean Adam was a nice enough host and spent most of my time with him.
Only issue was maybe first night when was scouting them all out, they thought it was a little weird but had to get a read on them.

I haven't been on IM at all for like the past year or two, so I know little about anyone, but there's nothing like booze to make complete strangers into quick friends. I imagine it works the same with internet friends, especially with the look of those crotch photos.
