Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum Thread
Two updates
First is for the Canadians,
seems like Walmart and a select few stores will be selling the game for 39 bucks on launch day... don't know why but that is one hell of a deal.

Second new trailer, which doesn't deal with the game at all, more the story of the asylum.

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum Thread
Thought this would be a cool vid for people who don't know stuff about Arkham Asylum to check out.

GT's review
Good to see its north of 10 hrs, though they show one too many boss battles.

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum Thread
I'm happy to see it's getting such great reviews. I could tell it was going to be good from the demo, but I didn't think it would get this kind of reception.

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum Thread
Has anyone done the B + Y takedown yet? You need at least 5X multiplier. You smash the guy to the ground and then grab his angle and twist to break his leg!

There's actually a few different ones, and I believe you get one for every 5x on your multiplier for... 5x, 10x, 15x, etc etc

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum Thread
After playing the demo, this is a definite buy. I love the mix of hand-to-hand and stealth combat, both done quite brilliantly. It shows that you don't have to have an interminable list of buttons mashed to have strong combat, but instead some time sensitive and thoughtful reaction based gameplay to create a really entertaining and deep experience without the frustration of your avatar never doing what you really wanted it to do.

Woah, I just noticed this. That guy signed up months ago, and made normal posts, right? Now he turns out to be a spammer? Smart I guess, but worth the effort?

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum Thread
So I guess we won't be seeing BaB in GT until Arkham Asylum is completed.
And with good reason! It's fucking great!

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum Thread
The question is, who will beat it first!
I think it will be between Combine and SquEARL, seeing as how I don't know anyone else.
Earl is nearly unemployed and Combine is just...Combine
