I totally agree with Strangler and Neo, I didn't like Metriod prime very much. It just simply wasn't fun on any level to me. And I agree on Halo, its easy to pick up and play, making it rock.

Re: HALO 3 TOMORROW
I haven't really touched the campaign mode.
But man o man the multiplayer has already got me hooked.
Sandtrap is awesome especially in teams.
We did a 3 vs 3 vs 3 match and it was.. well great.
Gonna try for 3 vs 3 vs 3 vs 3 vs 3... now that shall be chaos.
And a fan of the hammer.

Re: HALO 3 TOMORROW
I got the game at 6.
I beat the game at 10.
Honestly, I was thoroughly saddened at the entire campaign mode.

Re: HALO 3 TOMORROW
I like the game.......it's fun. Haven't touched multiplayer....but dayum wot happened to the graphics??!?! For some reason was expecting graphics like GOW.
I remember seeing some trickling water pouring from the level above me in the game......i went under it and looked up hoping it would trickle on the visor....but it doesn't.....it just disappears!
Anyways it's fun,, I like it.......still haven't discovered what the hype is all about....maybe coz i haven't touched multiplayer yet

From the reviews I've read I'd recommend incresing the difficulty level. Most have stated that the Normal mode was intended for the massive casual audince who may just play Halo 3 and nothing else this year, so they're expecting low levels of gaming competency for those using Normal.
From what I've heard from current reviews and experienced in past Halo releases, the enemy AI increases greatly as you ratchet up the difficulty levels.
Is it bad that I'm looking forward to playing Halo 3 more than I am lookng forward to my wedding?

You should get married in Halo 3. Brilliant! 16-player in Valhalla overlooking the water. Beautiful spot. And for the reception you'd split off into teams of 8 and kick ass in matchmaking.

Maybe you can have your wife-to-be to dress up as Cortona (spelling) and you as MC for the wedding. Get married in a spac themed chapel

I didn't mean game-wise, really. I just mean the story-line was weak. It was good, but *possible spoiler, I suppose* everything seemed to happen way too fast, with what seemed like should've been great gaps in time for those things to take place.
I know the AI gets better as you ramp the difficulty, I just wanted to motor through it as soon as I could.

Ok, I see what you're saying. I can see how one can feel that way when they prefer a more drawn out epic with lots of character development. I've always liked Halo's breakneck speed, and I think they chose a masked character because of the lack of character development. By not giving Master Chief a face, you can put your face underneath.
Thats is a good criticism, though, and well explained as opposed to "the story sucks". Thanks for the clarification.

It's not the character development that I wanted. I just expected more of a story in the storyline. Things changed way too fast at some points.
*Spoiler*
Like at the end, when you're working with the flood, and then the very next moment, you're fighting them again. I mean, I get it and all. It just seems stupid to me. That entire thing made me say "What the fuck, that was entirely un-needed."
*End*
I like the speed of the game, and the action. Just not the pace of the storyline. They could have -in my opinion - easily wedged some more levels in there for us people who see Halo as more than a Counterstrike for the 360.
I like the game. I own it and all that jazzy razzamatazz, and I intend to keep playing it. It just seems as the entire single person mode was rushed. Like the final Star Wars movie. Too much, in too little.

Re: HALO 3 TOMORROW
Well mostly been messing around with the multi-.. only played like 2 chapters in the campaign and I've got to say if those friggin mini mind scenes continue gonna toss a controller at someone..
Anyhow just wanted to share a game variant created (I hope)

OOnly weapons you have are swords and hammers. The only way to score points is to beat someone down face to face. Assassinations and grenade kills don't count.
i believe the speed is a bit faster, can't remember exactly.
But it's cool.
also if you come across one called Zero-G Rockets, one of my favorites downlaoded.
