Re: 2005
Well, being 220 pounds at 10% would be pretty massive, lol... So I won't be skinny or anything. I'm 260 pounds at 19% right now.

Re: 2005
Guys, I have a confession to make. I'm gay too.
Okay......so I'm just joking, but yeah.
2004 was a pretty boring year. The only thing covered on the news was the War On Iraq and pointless bitching about Bush, the Bears had yet another lackluster football season, the Cubs proved they are worse then the Sox, but both teams suck so no one wins, and I don't have enough confidence in the Bulls even though they have been doing good of late. Me, personally? I'm in school, and I'm cruising by.
I don't make resolutions, because I think it's stupid to do so just because it's expected at the end of the year. If I want to accomplish something, I'll do it when I want to accomplish it.
But yeah, way to go bobcat. You did something that takes a lot of balls to do, no matter how gay those balls are.

Re: 2005
Yeh thanks guys.
Telling my parents/bro was hard, I didn't know what to expect. Then telling my friends as well had me really worried. Eventually all worked out in the end.
The most rewarding part of it is being able to open my family/friends eyes to seeing that gay ppl do not always fit the stereotype. We even still make fun of the whole thing.
This happened like early last year so it was a while ago, but defintely the best thing I've ever done for my friends/family and myself.
I guess I should also mentioned that I loss 46 kg's. I was 119 kg's back in 1997 then through my own program and motivation I lost weight and now I'm 73kgs.

Life's pretty damn good atm, and it's only going to get better.

WHAAAAAAAAA???????
umm...wow...never would have guessed...this would make into a great soap opera episode of GT
congrats i guess...or something...
anyway...i only have one "Resolution" if you could call it that...more of a short term goal, and that is to do well on the SATs and get into singapore management university...after that it will be just school and whatnot.
the end of 2003, and the entire year of 2004 was possibly the greatest time of my life, i met the girl of my dreams, i made new friends, i went on vacation, and i didn't have school (which is probably considered a bad thing, but it was fun)...hopefully i'm past the hard part, and everything will start getting easier after january.
Happy new years to everyone

Good on ya for coming out It's so much more easier being yourself than an opressed being.
Ok, my turn.
2003 was not too bad. That was the year I left home to study and being alone at first was great (after living with a dominating mother for the past 18 years) but then comes the tears. So you can say that besides from learning how to be independent, I also learnt the way to memorize the TV guide by heart (I don't make friends easily so evenings were spent in front of the television -_-").
2004 all in all was a good year. I met my boy and have been together for quite some time now. I also managed to introduce him to my parents without getting my head chopped of as he's of another race and my parents are rather traditional. Things would have been so much better if I didn't flunk one of my papers. I'm forced to do summer to make up for it but it's my own fault so there's no one else but me to blame.
2005 so far (albeit only 3 days) has been great. Going back to uni in 2 days and I'm absolutely ready to tackle this head on.
My wishes for 2005 is for my boy to return from his tour of duty safe and sound and for my dad to have better health this year.
My resolutions for this year? Work harder and pass that %^&^#$(*^ paper!

Well, it's a good thing you followed your heart and didn't marry that girl. I'm glad you felt comfortable enough to share your joyous news with us. I should try harder to meet you if I ever go back to Sydney.

Re: 2005
Well I guess I take a different stance on Bobcat, in saying that I don't approve of homosexual liefstyle and I don't condole homosexual behaviour but I will say I still love him and he is still one of the coolest members of the board.
Now your probadly wondering how the hell can Fingers say he loves Bobcat but doesn't approve of his behaviour, well it simple, you can love someone but hate their actions or the spirit that controls them.
Take for example a parent and a child relationship. A child could be a murderer and the parent will be in court crying their eyes out for that child, and if you ever talk to the parent, they probadly would say he/ she is a good kid but I just hate what he/she did.
So I hope that's a good enough explaination to everyone.

Hate the action, not the person. I think that just about sums that up.
