Queen is overrated.

I wouldnt call those hits. Ive only heard of a handfull of those. And i didnt even know Saturday nights alright for fighting was done by him until Nickelback covered it.

And i dont know why people say Queen is overrated, if anything Elton John is overrated, or both. Queen is a good band, so i have no idea how they are overrated, nobody stated they are the best band in the world.

First of all, how is Elton John overrated? I know a lot of people who don't like him. As for Queen...at my school we had to vote for our next marching band field show, The Doors or Queen..and well my band director finally just decided to use the Doors, but everyone(mainly underclassmen) picked Queen. The songs were going to be Bohemian Rhapsody, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and We Will Rock You(Which is already in our stand music!). They only know one song by Queen..well maybe like three.....We Will Rock You, Bohemian Rhapsody, and We Are The Champions. They don't even know Queen's better stuff!! Only because of Bohemian Rhapsody did they vote for Queen.....and they didn't even take the chance to listen to the stuff by the Doors....which is much better. There is just an example of Queen being overrated..

I could see Queen being overrated if tons of people were still saying " aww man, Queen is the best band in the world."
But nobody is saying anything to how good they are, i think one person said they were good.

I'm just complaining..I like Queen a lot, but I just get sick of seeing people picking them over all the other bands..when I personally think that other bands are better. It's just a personal thing...I'll just shut up about it.

queen is great, but i think Elton got on a much wider scale with his hits than queen, except for the we are the champions song that is played at sporting events and such for prolly forever.

I hope you didn't get the impression that I hated Queen. They're actually in my top 10 favorite bands list. I was trying to be strategic, I don't want them to ruin any chances for any of the upcoming bands that they face because of their popularity...I just kind of got a little crazy when Elton John was losing..because it wasn't appealing to my strategy.

Kinda funny. I hear that his concerts are pretty good if you like that type of music.
