Uh... actually Chrono Trugger came out in 1995, and MGS only came out in 98 or 99... thats only 3 years.

I never got the chance to play MGS up until last year, but I have known who snake was far before I played it. Snake is a gaming icon, I never even heard of Magus until I came to this thread. Nuff said.

Ehm.. actually.. Solid Snake in the Metal Gear series was about ten years before Magus. AND.. based off of Christopher Walken.

Still, the Metal Gears did remotely good before the Solids came into play.
