If racism is just another opinion (which it is) then its the same thing as saying that the prom is open only to people who drive a luxury car, or people who are members of a school club. i can't decide if that is ok or not....just pointing it out

It's another night in hell, Another child won't live to tell
Can you imagine what it's like to starve to death
And as we sit free and well, Another soldier has to yell
Tell my wife and children I love them in his last breath
C'mon now amen, amen, amen

Personally, I don't find it to be such a bad thing. That's the great part about living in North America -- You're free to think what you want. The kids aren't hurting anything; It's not as though they're running around beating on black people or something.
They're just calmly, peacefully acting on their opinion, which is theirs to have when living in the United States.
And really, it's a two way street. The blacks are free to have their own blacks-only prom if they want, and that'd be fine too.
I don't think it's fair to lash out at people for having an opinion, and the fact that it's a racially-oriented opinion changes nothing. Having (and acting on) opinions, even if they seem racist to some, is one of the things that makes North America so diverse, and makes living in North America so great.
Instead of going "Oh those damn racists! blah blah blah," try looking at it from a different point of view. Racism is just another opinion; Another personal choice. As long as no one is being physically hurt as a result of it, who gives a f-ck?

Yeah, they're making their opinions known, but they're not letting people know who they are. If you have an opinion, okay. But stand by it, and don't say it in secret or fear.

The comment I made was sarcastic and I'm not really racist... just clearing that up incase you didn't know...
But racism and homophobia are the same in the sense that it's hating someone for a reason that has no effect on you or anything else... Hating someone for who they are... Creating senseless hate... You're no better than a racist...
