Lakers lost again... thank god.

T'Wolves are now up 2-1

It was a long fustrating game, but the team that deserved to win won... due to all the BS calls. If Lakers would have won that game with all those bad calls I wouldn't have watched another NBA game for this season.

But anyway, I hope Minnisota plays with this intensity for the rest of this series. I think they have a serious chance at de-throning the Lakers if they keep it up.

You mean you hope the refs kick Sacramento's ass FOR YOU once again? Game 6 last year was one of the biggest ****ing travesties ever. Tonight's game was almost as bad. When the announcers (Who are totally ****ing biased towards LA as it is) are pointing out the calls it should be obvious.

Throughout the 90's it was the Knicks who got every single call. Fortunately the Bulls were able to take care of them even with the biased officials. Now, the nba put the refs in the lakers pockets. From the time that Pat Riley left the lakers in the 80s until now the NBA championship pretty much stayed between the Bulls, the Pistons and teams from Texas. The NBA can't STAND to see the trophy stay out of NY or LA so they do everything they can to make sure teams like the lakers and knicks get every single break.

Like how the Lakers cut their roster in anticipation of getting O'neal from Orlando despite the fact that they would never do this unless they were already in negotiation with him, which they obviously were. Too bad it was illegal because he was still under contract with the Magic at the time....

Or back in 1985 when NBA fixed the draft lottery so that the knicks could get Patrick Ewing.

Tonight's game should have made it blatantly obvious, the NBA conspiracy theory is not only alive and well, it's true.

LOL... maybe.

I say get rid of the draft lottery... It really screws over bad teams.

I mean, the year before last Rockets go 40-42... barely out of the playoffs. Then they have one bad injured up season, and they just happen to get the first pick in the draft.

Even Spurs and Mr. Duncan... great team, one injured up season, then they turn around and get Duncan first pick, then a year later win an NBA championship.

Wizards, Mike is coming back and trying to re-build this franchise. The team wasn't even close to the worst in the NBA and they get first pick.

I think that conspiracy is true... as for Refs, I dunno.

Lakers beat Sacremento last year off of terrible officiating and a gift from god shot from Horry. I would hardly call that kicking thier ass.

The main think I don't like about the Lakers is thier cockyness... Cockyness from Phil:

"I think this is the best game they have ever played, I can't see them getting any better"

Yeah, that's why they beat you guys w/o Garnett in OT. Also, I hate the cocky fans. How can the three time champion's stadium be one of the quietest arenas in the NBA? Also, don't get me started on Shaq... I respect Kobe, but Shaq is the cockiest SOB in the game.

Blah blah, refs this, refs that, cry cry.

I hate refs just as much as the next guy, and I have seen some really stupid calls, and refs that have really bad skills (or lack there of). But it does no good to complain.

I don't watch basketball too much, but everytime I see a Lakers game the announcers are always saying how amazing some of the calls LA gets in their favor. Especially last game in the last couple of minutes, but as long as the Timberwolves won anyway. I can't stand Kobe or Shaq (or Fox or Horry or whoever else is on their team).

Hell, I admit, yesterday's game was a complete joke. Refs were morons (I know they were in it for the money..., but they made things really obvious with Pargo's layup foul..) Also, you could keep saying it, but the fact is that Lakers did beat the Kings last year. Horry's finishing 3 was phenomenal. Lakers played with no heart yesterday, the only Laker with heart was Derek Fisher while Kobe and Shaq were playing with absolutely no Laker pride.

This year, things are different. As much as I hate the Sacremento Kings, I have to admit, their players are really good, and my bet is on them this year. If a team wins, then they win. Even if the refs are morons in a game, the team that wins, simply wins. So when the Lakers lost yesterday, I didn't act like a sore loser and go bitch about how full of **** the game was, but when the Lakers won the King's last year, they won regardless of what anyone has to say.

That's how the game of basketball works.

It's good the Lakers are out.I think the Pistons'll finish off the 76ers in 7 but it doesn't matter bcause the Nets will finish both of them off.I hope my Kings can get past Dallas but i don't think they'll beat San Antonio. The East could get the championship this year if the Nets face the Spurs.

At least Detroit is getting sweeped.I really want to see the Spurs lose because they are so boring.Dallas vs. New Jersey would be such a great Finals.

Ha Detroit gets swept twice! First the RedWings and soon the Pistons. And NJ might win in 2 sports.Amazing.NY was supposed to do it a couple of years back but the Knicks messed up as usual.
