That is correct on the Yu-gi-oh. My grandma just bought the gameboy color game for my cousin who is like 10 I think...Its a card game...probably like the pokemon card game for gameboy color...I looked at the box, Indeed Kanomi makes it. So yea...
And this megaton poop is getting old...

That sounds nice, but will have to see it to believe it. Even ifthey purchased Sega, methinks sport gamers would be the last thing on thier minds.

I think it's too late to go back... but I think they should stop adding for a while. They should start focusing on the story line and battle system for the newer games, and stop focusing on making new Pokes.

Even 251 was okay. Over 300 is too much though. Like Justin said, they need to expand in other areas.
Instead of making new ones, why don't they create a fusion option for the first 251

Of course, they'll need to buy Namco too.

Stop thinking rationally, then Megaton makes no sense. And Nintendo, Sega, and Namco still makes sense. Sega ownz in the arcade biz. Don't you think they could still use arcade hardware for VF5, Virtua Cop 3, etc.? It doesn't seem too off.

BULL****. Everyone just keeps repeating themselves. It truly IS getting annoying.

True, but repeating could mean both ways. they might have heard rumors reported the wrong way and read them as fact, or the hints that slipped about the announcement before christmas involving Capcom and Sega may be true.

My only thought on those three is.... Nintendo's philosophy is to both develop and publish games, with the EAD (and SHIGGY) monitoring every detail. It happened with Metroid Prime, it happened with Star Fox Adventures, and it's happened with every game out. Buying ANY company would be both hard on Shiggy and hard on Nintendo's profits already.
|
Shiggy does a lot because he is a brilliant game designer, but he doesn't monitor every detail of every game. But on the other side, Sega has its own geniuses like Yu Suzuki, and Yuji Naka. Sega has made hit games on their own, give them money for development and some aid in getting the most out of the cube hardware, and they can run with it. Not to mention, they could single-handedly make Cube become big online.

That's also a load of ****. What BRILLIANT DEDUCTION WE HAVE~~! Only 5 games exclusive? If COURSE it's a buyout! Nintendo's monopolizing the market! SAVE YOUR KIDDIES!
|
The reference to Capcom is just a piece of the puzzle. Nintendo and Capcom seem to have been growing closer and closer lately. It all began with Capcom developing the GBC Zeldas, and then RE goes exclusive, then they develop GBA Zelda, and now 5 exclusive titles? Again, pieces of the puzzle. Would it make sense? Not complete sense. What about RE Online, Tekki, DMC2, and others? If progress was stopped months ago and a porting process begun, it would make sense, but we haven't heard. It all references to say that there is the possibility.
It may not make much sense, but if it did, would it be a surprise? I mean, look at Rare. There wasn't a huge announcement, they didn't steal E3. Basically a press release to news everyone knew about and had accepted. This is so unreal, if it happened, we would all be shocked, and would people buy Gamecubes for Sega and Capcom games? I think so.
But my position still stands. I'm confused

Yes, I think we're all very confused.
Everything should be straightened out soon, I hope!

Like with Rare, they released SFA and then ported Kameo. That was AFTER the announcement so...
And I didn't get all the PKMN in G/S, cause it seemed too much for me! I really hope they'll add something to make collecting easier or something... or perhaps not concentrate on collecting but rather on training and getting the best, strongest PKMN.

Yes but Star Fox Adventures was almost finished (and was a game being made with one of Nintendo's licenses... or whatever), and we hadn't heard anything of Kameo for quite awhile (at least I hadn't )...
Yep...
