The best you can hope for is a better resolution.

incorrect.... best i can hope for is real VR zelda, put on glasses. walk around with perfectly realistic graphics where you are Actually IN the game.

hell, after thinking about it. i could prolly find things to hope for that are better for that.

Seriously tho. rumors had been going around for a long time that Nintendo will remake OOT and MM in the zelda spaceworld 2000 graphics.

First of all, I reckon the GC hardware is capable of doing much better stuff than that (But it's still better than N64). Secondly, as far as we know, these are just renders sent in by a zelda fan.

If they were at IGN, they are official. I'm pretty sure they had them on that flier with the cover, though I'm not sure.

If this is what is an actual pics from the remakes, then those are pretty great. Better looking than the '64 ones.

Gee talking about understatement...

These graphics would sell this game better than the completely new GC Zelda!

Too bad they weren't actually done by Nintendo. Actually, they were done by a fan. The reason IGN has them is the aforementioned fan sent those renders that he made to Peer Schneider who posted them in the latest Hyrule Times column.

Considering they were done by an amateur, they aren't half bad.
