Well, around here, it's always what I thought was normal
Elementary School: 1 - 5
Middle (Jr. High) School: 6 - 8
High School: 9 - 12

Yeah around here it's what shooter said... but when my brother went to school I think it was K-6 is elementary... then 7-9, then 10-12...
But they changed it to the K-5, 6-8, 9-12 because the school districts that used that setup were laughing at the K-6 one and calling it unhip and so they had to change to fit in... *shrugs*

Loved elementary school and middle school. High school is a pain in the arse. But I also probably have a longer commute and day than most of you guys. *shrugs*
