Best conference ever. It's like they showed me all my favourite games wrapped into one.
A little disappointed at the Yarn Kirby, but I'll probably still enjoy it. What I would want is a full-3D Kirby Super Star.

Uh, has anyone been able to figure out how exactly Nintendo made 3d possible without the use of 3d glasses, before anyone else could?

I think because the tech/method they use is probably better suited for something like a handheld where you have to stare at it anyhow. If I'm not mistaken (and trust me I could be), it basically overalls the same image and tricks the eye into thinking one is above the other or something.
Features:- Metroid: Other M takes the best elements of first-person and third-person gaming to create a seamless blend between game play, storytelling and dynamic cinematography. It feels like a movie the player can control. Players hold the Wii Remote™ controller sideways while navigating and battling in third-person. However, at any moment, players can switch immediately to Wii Remote pointer controls to examine and explore the environments in first-person perspective.
- Metroid fans know more about Samus' suits and weapons than they do about what drives her. That's about to change. The story begins following the events of Super Metroid™, when a baby Metroid gave its life to protect Samus. With voice acting and a rich story, players learn more about Samus' past as she weaves through an action-packed adventure aboard the Bottle Ship, a decommissioned space facility. As she hurtles into this new adventure, Samus will encounter her first mentor and Commanding Officer of the Galactic Federation, Adam Malkovich.
- The development of Metroid: Other M is an exciting collaboration between Nintendo's Yoshio Sakamoto and Team Ninja. Sakamoto was the director of Super Metroid in 1994. Team Ninja is the renowned action developer of Ninja Gaiden. Metroid: Other M pairs Sakamoto's expert design and exploratory focus of the classic Metroid series with Team Ninja's signature stylish, no-holds-barred action.
Nice all-gameplay trailer. No emotional cg cutscenes this time ;-). Seems like a lot more Prime elements are in the game than anticipated: scanning, first person view and the visuals looking a lot like Retro's games.
I'm actually pleased about the graphics looks much nicer compared to previous trailers.

Re: Nintendo Press Conference: e3 2010
Kirby looks awesome, but does he still inhale and eat enemies and steal their powers? I didn't see any of that in the video, though I haven't played a new Kirby game in a long time so I may be out of the loop.
Are there any easily accessible DK trailers out there?

From what I've read (less than 10 seconds), it sounds like they are using a LCD screen which displays a different image depending on the viewing angle. If that's the case, it really isn't new technology, but it has tons of problems.
For one, where is the head located relative to the screen? How far are they sitting away from the TV? How do you support multiple people viewing? Pretty much all this stuff can be "assumed" when it's a handheld.
There was a good presentation by Sony at GDC 2010 if you're interested in it.

Also there's already a TV out that is a 3D tv that doesn't use the glasses.

Think not all sizes are currently released, but anyway they've got some stuff going for them.

And with plenty more colors to use.
I'm hoping the Nintendo 3DS will be good. I was impressed by what I saw of it.
