Re: Games that would be sweet if they existed
- A sequel to Psychonauts
- A sequel to Crackdown
- Halo 4
- An FPS game where total, realistic destruction of every single thing was possible. Bad Company comes close, but some of the deformation is cookie-cutter makeup - just for show. I'd want a game that if you blow enough holes into a building, it'd fall down in a physics-based, realistic fashion. If you launch an RPG into the ground, it makes a big hole. Trees won't just break off from a few bullets, but splinter the tree enough and it might fall down (In Bad Company, just a few bullets will get the tree to "explode" into two parts.. not very realistic). A sequel to Black or even Bad Company 2 would be awesome with this.

Something like Morrowind and Oblivion, but in a present world. Inspired by movies like Indiana Jones and National Treasure. You have 1 main goal, but for that you have to follow clues... It's all up to you. No linear gameplay, just you in a huge world.

Far Cry 2 is shaping up to be something like that.

Fallout 3?
And I would want them to make Sniper Elite 2 or a Sci-fi MMOFPSRPGRTS where you can customize anything you want, say a giant space cruiser to travel to distant planets or to destroy others in battle. Go to an uninhabited planet and make it your own, create your own cities armies. Sadly I dont think anything like that will ever happen ever. The closest thing coming up is Huxley which will still be pretty cool.

Homeworld 3
And, a proper sequel to Dropship: United Peace Force. One that encompasses exactly what the development team had wanted to do in the first place, which was load up troops, vehicles etc. aboard a carrier in orbit, then descend down through the atmosphere to the LZ. I'd dig that like a gravedigger on a public holiday.
That game was so awesome.

Re: Games that would be sweet if they existed
This has probably been mentioned today.
but I would love for some cross genre mixing.
Huge wrestling person and was thinking how cool it would be to play entrance music via Rock Band during events like Wrestlemania.
Or playing the Half time show during the Superbowl in Madden.
Sure wouldn't be the whole game but would be awesome features.

Re: Games that would be sweet if they existed
1. MMORPG based on the Gargoyles Disney cartoon.
2. The 3D pokemon RPG thing. Always wanted that.
3. Another Lovecraft inspired action/horror game like Eternal Darkness. I loved the parts of the game that were set in the early 20th century. I think your character could be a regular, upper middle class guy in that time period, who uncovers a world of paranormal events happening all around us.
4. A sandbox RPG in the same vein as the Elder Scrolls games, except et in the Harry Potter universe.
5. A good Quidditch game. For the love of God, just let me design it. I had amazing ideas before some idiot at EA screwed it up. >:|

Re: Games that would be sweet if they existed
I've always wanted a Battlefield type game based on space battle based mainly on vehicle (spaceship) combat and mothership defense and maintenance.
Ships
Fighter - Single occupancy. Fast and agile, strong against bombers, boarders and other fighters, weak against capital and mother ships.
Bomber - 3 players maximum. One to fly and target torpedoes, maximum 2 players to man front and rear turrets. Strong vs Capital and Motherships, weak vs fighters and defensive platforms. Heavy shields but low plating due to weight of playload. Fighter escort recommended
Boarder - 7 players maximum. One pilot, one turret, and 5 marines to board capital and mother ships (then shields are down). Can board Capital and Motherships, but shields must be down or ship will explode on impact. Heavy shields but low plating due to weight of playload. Fighter escort recommended
Capital Ships - Heavy ship that has one fighter and bomber spawn point and can be a moveable spawn area. Strong attack vs everything and more offensive control is in the hands of the pilot (torpedoes). Vulnerable to bombers, cap ships and motherships. For balance reasons I would have a maximum of one Capital ship per game and having one would lower the number of other ships available and lower their respawn rate. If a cap ship is destroyed, it doed not respawn.
Mothership - Heart of the fleet and set spawn point for all players, ships, defensive platforms, etc. Motherships can be fortresses or assault staging grounds depending on how you play them. All motherships require a captain (authority), helmsman (movement, radar, communications and shield maintenance) and tactical (defense, torpedo and rail gun). Very striong shields and even stronger armor, it takes a lot of torpedoes and shots with a rail gun to bring this one down. Rail guns do heavy damage to captial and Mothership and installation armor but ZERO damage to shields.
Avatars
Marine - Excellent for boarding parties (and defending against them) as they are very strong vs all opponent avatars and can set explosives to cripple capital and motherships. cannot fly ships or repair defensive platforms or engines. Assault only.
Engineer - Excellent at manning and repair ship platforms such as defensive locations, offensive locations (torpedo tubes and paricle cannons) and engines. Heart of the Mother and Capital ships. Weak in combat and cannot pilot ships. Will be killed when trying to repair an installation that is destroyed (siucked into space before vacuum shields are raised or killed on impact)
Pilot - Pilots fighters, bombers and boarders. Medium in peronal combat offense but are killed easily due to lack of armor. Get them to a ship ASAP to use them fully.
Officers - Only for those who have gained rank in combat, the highest rank has the option of being captain, then tactical, then helmsman, etc. Must have experience at the helm and tactical to be captain. Helm and tactical can captain Capital ships if they are in play. Melm and tactical can only perform their tasks when given orders by their captain. It is the officers duty to inform the captain of the situation and then follow orders once they are given. Any officer can refuse to follow an order if they greatly disagree with the command of the captain and call a "mutiny vote". If the mutiny is successful, the next highest rank becoms captain, but because the capain is thrown out the airlock the squad is down one player that game.
Thoughts???
