Hmm... so many choices.... there's been some good songs up here. Some terrible ones too mind...
Imagine - John Lennon. In a world with no religion, money or government there would be no reason for war.
Orbital - The girl with the sun in her head Beautiful tune
Lamb - Gorecki
Pulp - Mis-shapes "We want your homes, we want your lives, we want the things you won't allow us, we won't use bombs, we won't use guns, we'll us the one thing we've got more of, and that's out minds"
PJ Harvey - annything from her latest album which is simply the most uplifting/depressing album I've ever heard
Future Sound of London - Her face forms in summertime the most laid back tune ever.
808 State - Azura "Here's all I really know in this life; love's all we can do here"
Placebo - Teenage Angst
"Since I was born I started to decay"
Placebo - Summers gone and in fact most of the rest of their songs
The Beatles - revolution It is indeed a fantastic tune. "We all wan to change the world"
Jeff Buckley - Grace Possibly the greatest song about suicide you'll ever hear
Dubstar - Just a girl "I'm a person who speaks, I'm a person who thinks, but you hope I'll forget as you ply me with drinks"
Frente - Bizarre Love Triangle
Pixies - Momnkey gone to heaven
This mortal coil - song to the siren
Smashing Pumpkins - 1979 and most of the rest of their stuff
Obviously, if I were allowed to pick "albums" or "dance sets" this list would be way different.... there arre some tracks that don't work that well on their own, but as part of an album whole they're f**king excellent...
I also know there's loads of songs I've forgotten to list here as well. Bah. I need DSL.
