Well, everyone needs something to blame it on. So they pick the easiest target.

Ric, all of us aren't like you. Most of us might attack the attacker, but some of us would be paralyzed in fear. You can't automatically think that's what most of us would do. I would attack him too, but I'd be careful not to get killed myself.

I know that most of the people get so scared and confused that they're just kinda paralysed. Most people think they would try and stop him, but when they actually see it happen, they're just not themselves... they can't help it, the only thing they can do is run away...
Ric was brave, but his knife-situation was not yet as shocking as when someone has already killed a lot of people with a gun.

If I saw some guy with a gun, my first little thoughts would probably be to run and hide or something I'm a wuss...
"There are over 1000 people at my school if a guy came round shooting then how hard would it be to throw a chair at the fu**er."
Well when there's a bunch of crazy scared people running around trying to get out of his way, it would be kinda hard to sneak up behind him, cuz chances are he'd be looking around to make sure none of those people were coming up behind him or something to attack him during all the commotion (if there was a lot of commotion cuz maybe the hallways and stuff were fairly empty I dunnos)...
Like I said, it looks like his goal was to kill teachers, but 2 students were too... were those students people he didn't like? Or were they people who tried to stop him?

It surprises me that they haven't revealed much about the whole case. Was the guy on drugs?? Did he leave a note??

To be perfectly onast Ric, it's easy to say what you think you would do the situation. But until your actaully in the situation, you can't say for sure what you would do. I personally don't know what i would do, i'd like to think i'd have the courage to do something. But like i said, you never know what you'll actaully do when your in the situation.
If someone just walks into a school or a public place with a gun and starts shooting people, i don't care who you are. It would scare the sh!t out of you, and most people wouldn't beable to overcome there fear to try and stop the person with the gun. I can see you believe strongly that you would do something, and perhaps you would. I know you personally Ric, and i know that you are quite strong willed (I'm not going to mention that time with the dogs ). But i still believe that no one knows 100% what they would do in a situation like that, until they've been in the situation.

I heard on the news that he was about to kill this one teacher, but the teacher said, "Go ahead and kill me, but look into my eyes while you do it." The shooter hesitated and then said, "I think that's enough." I wasn't really paying attention to the news, but I think I heard that the teacher locked him in, and soon afterwards he committed suicide. I'm not sure if it's true though. I was too busy beating the scenario in Advance Wars to really focus on the news.

Okay, you are brave when it comes to a knife. But trust me, a gun is such a different scenerio. Knives can kill, but the person has to be close, and you can dodge a knife, too. But with guns, you don't have to be close to get shot, and you can't dodge the bullet (unless you are Neo).

Also, just because you did it once doesn't gaurantee that you're going to do it a second time. You make choices in life and even though you may think you will respond one way to a situation, you might respond in another. Like if you were on the show Fear Factor and went in thinking that you were brave enough to eat those bugs, but once the plate was brought out it's very possible that you'd chicken out.

This is partly why I didn't want to say what I did. This reaction. Meh you can think what you want. I KNOW what I would do.

I read some more info a few days ago, forgot to post it.
He had hidden 500 bullets in a toilet.
Jin's story ( I heard on the news that he was about to kill this one teacher, but the teacher said, "Go ahead and kill me, but look into my eyes while you do it." The shooter hesitated and then said, "I think that's enough." There was more news... *tries to think*
