So which way is better? To have stronger bonds or more activity?

I prefer the smaller community. I've been to a couple of the larger message boards and it just doesn't interest me because a lot of what is said is meaningless and annoying. So I'm wasting my time sifting through that stuff to find the interesting things to read.

So you're conspirig that there's a group out there who likes to come on all at once randomly at night and read completely random topics. Ok.

I don't know if Neo mentioned or not, but we haven't upgraded vB in a while. Like, a long while, because of the hacks. So there very well could be new spider technology that this vB doesn't recognize.
