I saw RE Friday night and I think this is the best Game to Movie Movie ever. It "follows" more closely to the RE events and gives some insight into things u might not have known or were wanting to know. The people who say this movie sucks are the ones who dont know what Resident Evil is or are older than 25. But if you have even remotely seen what RE is or what the game is about, I would recommend seeing it.

Be careful of generalizing. I could just as easily say that the people who say this movie rocks are the ones who care way too much about Resident Evil or are younger than 16. That would probably be more true, actually.

And just as a note to everyone: you're not going to convince me to see a movie just because it's the best videogame to movie conversion ever done. If you think about it, that's really isn't saying a lot.

When my grandpa was a lad he said movies only cost a dime and popcorn only cost a nickel. I feel ripped off!

Of course it's all relative.

I wish the movie was more like the actual game.

The only thing it seems to have in common are the dogs...In the game I dont see any matrix flipped out kicks and crap. Just shoot the d@mn guy!

heh heh totally. After being bored out of my mind from such videogame movies as ''Final Fantasy'' and ''Mortal Kombat'' Im not going to see this one, no matter how much videogame fans like it.

And zombies... lickers (or at least one... they're the things with the long tongues from RE2)... Umbrella, their crazy expiriments, a virus.... It's even placed in the timeline of the other games (it takes place before RE1)...

.. yep...

Hehe, I downloaded it and saw it this vacation (thing doesn't come out here I guess...). It was great!! Great movie, although it's just another horror/survivel movie like Aliens.

Great ending BTW. Screams for a sequel or for playing the games.

And they take this one guy who got attacked by the licker to 'project Nemesis', will he become what I think he will become??

I heard that RE0 and the movie have a comparable story?? I think this is the first STARS team??

I don't think so... the only STARS team I remember was the Alpha team with Wesker, Jill, etc, and the Bravo team with uhh Enrico, Forest, Rebecca, etc...

And none of their names matched... and RE0 is about Rebecca and some ex-navy seal on a train and around surrounding areas...

RE the movie was about some big underground umbrella lab, ya?

I think there were just rumors popping up that the movie and RE0 will be similar simply because both of them take place before RE1...

Because I brought it back.

Isn't the movie called 'Resident Evil: Ground 0'?? I think that's also why some said the game would be based on the movie or the other way round.

Anyway I'm going to see it again when it's in cinema here. This is my friends' kind of movie: weapons, action, adventure, horror and a hot babe.
