Re: Zelda Trailer
Definetly the best looking Zelda ever, and I am willing to bet the best Zelda ever. It rips off LOTR, but I loved the movies and the books, it just means the New Zelda will be bad a$$.
I own GT4 and it aint got nothing on Zelda.

Re: Zelda Trailer
I hope they polish off links movments and stuff in the game tho. right now it just doesnt look right in many cases. expecially when he jumped backwards and did the flip. he needs to move a bit more lifelike.

i liked the cel shaded, maybe even better then this. But i'd prefer they made the cel shaded a little more dark themed and less cute. Kinda a cross between this in the cel shaded one.

Re: Zelda Trailer
cel shading is the best thing to happen to Cartoon Games....
it does so well for Budokai series...
and the Wild Arms 3 that used Cell shading........... gorgeous...
it just adds that cartoony feel to it that you want to retain.

Re: Zelda Trailer
 It's so cool!!!
*watches it again*
Waaaaah.... awesome...
Sure it reminds you of TLotR, but it doesn't feel like that. Zelda has a totally different atmosphere... This is no epic war, this is just a lonely hero boy.
I agree with Null and Dan that the animation isn't quite as good as WWs yet. But I noticed the face expressions when Link runs from the spider.
The water is so purdy!

Re: Zelda Trailer
Looks preeeetty sweet!
Of course good graphics doesn't automatically = Good game...
But the fact that it's a Zelda game does
I like the monster design, it seems a bit on the darker side... And the enviornments look amazing...
Now here's hoping any townsfolk in the game won't have extremely huge heads with insane smiles on their faces as they prance around town...

Re: Zelda Trailer
Oh yes that's another thing I noticed: Link is much taller. Look at his body perspectives, it's even more adult than in OoT. He even looks a bit clumsy like that...
*watches it again*
Oh yeah, where does he do a backflip?
Taking over other mounts!! !!!
BlueFire (beneath me): they can always come up with a weak story where suddenly the water lowers and Hyrule is back again.

I hope there are a few towns and villages.. Not just Kakariko and Hyrule town. huge cities full of life.
Im kinda excited as to what the storyline is. It is confirmed to be a sequel to WW, so.. are they trying to conquer this new land or explore this new land?
*waits*
