The original one for PSX. Wasn't it always called Biohazard in Nihon though?

RE has always been called Biohazard in Japan, they just decided to change the name for some reason when it came to the US, and it's stayed that way... This one will be called Resident Evil in the US as well...
And yeah, I wonder what score the old RE (saturn or PSX, either one) got... hmmm *rubs chin*

For those of you wondering if Famitsu is biased, I assure you that they are not. The proof is in the scores. The same issue where they give Biohazard a 39 also gave these scores:
Quote:
Meanwhile, NBA Street brought home the magazine's Silver Award with a score of 30 out of 40, while Rogue Leader nabbed a rating of 28 out of 40 and Rave a 26 out of 40.
|
Source: IGN
Granted, NBA Street and Rogue Leader are American games which typically don't do well in Japan, but Rave is not.
Or it could be that Rave is so bad that even a fanboy magazine like Famitsu wouldn't dare to give it a good score.
P.S. Not looking good for the Konami support so far...

BreakABone... I guess you now understand how Nintendo fans piss me off...
You guys just happen to support any source that gives Nintendo games high scores... but you never listen when Nnitendo gets low scores...
it's no use argueing, anybody who replied to my IGN thread and said somthing that bashes IGN is 1) a hypocrit or 2) a fanboy whose opinion I'm never going to respect again....
I used to think this forum was intelegent... oh well, guess there is no such thing as that *shrugs*

Not that I give a **** BigW, but everyone on this site (or NDose before this site) always respected Famitsu and followed their scores. More than one person in this thread has told you why they repsect Famitsu, did you miss these posts?

They respect Fatsamu because it give Nintendo good scores... period.
There isn't one source that gives Nintendo good marks that Nintendo fans don't respect...even Nintendo power is highly respected....
it's funny, because IGN, back when Nintendose was young, was getting a LOT of respect in the forums... back when N64 was getting good scores all the time, and when Ps2 was getting worse scores than Dreamcast, people here acted like it's the only source on the net...
Now that GCN's scores are low on IGN, and Xbox's scores are higher... well... go look in the fight club forum for yourself....

I'm a little weary of IGN only for the fact that each console has its own staff.

Well that is rather correct.. I mean just compare the scores for Sonic Adventure 2 on DreamCast and on for GC. I mean I could understand the scores being lower because it's a port but almost 3 points.

What I'm saying isn't factual???
Like I said, no point argueing... I'm one of the oldest members here, and I have spent more time around these forums than 95% of the members... I have always been on the oppising side of Nintendo fans in arguements, and I know what I'm talking about...
I guess it's just a coincedence that you guys give respect to the magizines/sites that give Nintendo high scores... and that you dislike magizines that give Nintendo games low scores... Even if it means turning your back on once respected sources...
I'm a Nintendo fan, but you guys are at a different level... I guess that's where the word fanboy came from...
