The Last Emperor - One Life
Here's the story behind one of my favorite songs ever. The rapper in the second verse, Poetic, had been fighting cancer for a while and had never been on a record so Last Emperor put him on this song to show his appreciation to a fellow emcee. Sadly, a few weeks after recording, Poetic died from his colon cancer, but I imagine it was a happy death because he finally got his break.
